Put it this way, even at today's prices a £700 season ticket holder for 40 years has paid in just £28000. Aside from programmes and pies etc. That's not enough to cover an annual salary of a coach nor the day's wage for a player. Here's the rundown about matchday income...

This is what concerns me. Whilst City have got a lot right, their absolute lack of communication with its core fanbase totally bemuses me. Seven months in and I've had one email from the club, about refunds. I do fear that they expect us all to pick up where we left off yet the world around us...

Hashtag had a full on pitch invasion last night. Granted it was a small one but there was nothing covid secure about the crowd and not a mask in sight. Meanwhile Johnson pulls the plug on trials. As ever this government is all over the place with its strategy and all I read from today is no City...

Remember being at the QPR game, the first monday night Sky game thinking wtf has happened to football. TV has brought the best players to our shores for which we should be grateful but the matchday experience is stuck in 1974.

Because airlines and the airline industry have more friends in government than football clubs? Grouse shooting has been given an exemption; that says all you need to know.

Nail on the head. I've been called a conspiracist for pointing out that Covid is being used by City to bring in measures that would be otherwise fought against. Casual sharing of season tickets has ended via the amnesty thing, pushing people to buying the highest ticket price. Photo ID is...

Don't know about you but I've had just one email from the club in the last 6 months.

I genuinely and honestly do not believe that PL Execs and decision makers give a toss about paying fans. They've pumped ticket inflation, allowed TV to move games with little notice and offer every nation on the planet to be able to watch all games live but not in the UK where they object...

No pilots in areas of concern. Following that through to a conclusion, we will have a scenario where clubs in some areas have crowds and others not. Have the Premier League ruled that out or is it on the table? This will become the asterix of all asterix seasons.

Who will be our centre backs this season?

Did Ake come off injured the other night? If it's a hamstring, things might start differently.........

The government is capable of spectacular contradiction ("lockdown is over, it is still with us but here's some half price food, wade in"). But I just cannot see them sanctioning mass gatherings at football matches when 6 people can't meet inside or out. Too many mixed messages.

On the back of this news I cannot see football clubs in the north west opening up to supporters any time this year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54081131

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54019867 Here's an up to date summary. Some have clarity on ballots, others are in the dark. None have a start date though, with Spurs leading the charge (being influential on the working group to restart) and want a corporate function as a trial.

I'm not surprised in the slightest. City and communication with its core fanbase are not happy bedfellows. Besides, there's no return till October and with regional lockdowns the Arsenal game has to be questioned so Liverpool weekend of 7th November might be our first home game? Would be nice...

Question for all USA based Blues.... Genuine request for help!!

Mate, it's no different now when we're televised in the UK and a var decision is announced. Somebody in the crowd pulls out a BT sport or Sky app and we see the replays in the ground.... Replays that are not shown on the stadium screens for reasons that people who do not attend matches make up.

We're not a lower league club where sudden loss of income threatens our existence. If we were then I could kind of see where this is coming from but it's a tough sell by the club to say "you can come back first because you gave us a credit but you over there can't because you needed the cash to...

Can't help you fella but do find it bizarre that you can watch all the games yet we in the UK can't.

So rugby fans can sit next to each other if they're in the same household (not separated as the Brighton test game was). Tickets are not named. They can sell their tickets but only on the proviso that they inform the buyer of the Code Of Conduct. Track and trace is done via a stadium app and no...

Not sure I agree with that idea. Plenty of people needed the refunds and were in desperate financial times. Giving those with credit first dabs links loyalty to an ability of afford.
