Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

Drove in to see Peter Kay last night as I couldn’t be arsed with the train or the tram. Parked up on someone’s drive on Viking Close and walked across through the campus. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was. Got to the arena and Queued for about 5-10 mins. no problem with that and I got...

    A sense of perspective

Not at the races today and United did a job in us. So fair play to them. You learn more about a team in defeat than victory and I’m sure Peps anger today will fire him up for next season.

    Khaldoon's end of season review

he’s lost quite a bit of weight judging by recent photos . hopefully it is a health kick and not anything underlying we don’t yet know about. *Edit - apologies I hadn’t read the earlier comments on this higher up the thread.

Pep's contract situation | Expected to leave at the end of next season according to Jack Gaughan (p1332)

I’m sure there will be a chat in the close season with Khaldoon where an exit strategy is discussed. hopefully that will settle your nerves somewhat

Pep's contract situation | Expected to leave at the end of next season according to Jack Gaughan (p1332)

I meant in terms of what he has achieved, as opposed what he has in his bank account.

City announce trial bus scheme for home games

I’d jump on the tram from alty/navigation road. Much quicker and is direct to the stadium.

    North Stand Expansion

I think if they price s/t’s too cheap, they’ll get a repeat of what happens in the NS atm, that is people pick and chose their games leaving seats empty at other times.

Went to the Atletico game a couple of years back on a chartered flight. Most on the flight had been on the ale since 5:30am. I kept my powder dry and was called a puff. had a nice afternoon in madrid and after some tapas and a couple of the pints at the 4 seasons went to the game compos mentis...

City announce trial bus scheme for home games

used it today to get in from Hale. was the noisiest and most bone juddering bus I’ve ever been on. journey time was 1 hr 20 minutes total. bus driver was friendly enough though. will use the train/tram next time which takes less than half the time.

I would hazard a guess it’s mostly due to the heavy traffic it gets from large vehicles.
