Absolutely I would have, Ake hasn’t Suddenly become faster or more agile. Gomez just doesn’t have the physical attributes of a defender. Fine for the teams which sit behind the ball, but not in the big games.

Let me ask you this. Would you ever match him against the likes of Salah, Saka or Kingsley Coman? Hes certainly not going to speed up much as he gets older.

Good cameo with limited minutes. Has a good burst of initial pace and a good pass on him, just needs game time.

His one two passing is good, but he got skinned a few times when defending and can’t cross. Would never trust him against a top 6 team.

Yeah I can’t understand why Gomez isn’t playing it in when Jack makes that pass.

Munich may want him but only at a cut price knowing we would probably take less. If the circumstances were different then maybe he would go for that, but not when they know he’s never coming back to city and we need to get rid of him.
