That knee slide was sexy. Goal was alright too.

I like the look of M Nunes, have thought for a while he looks suited to our midfield. Is he good enough? I’m not sure with the way the wolves team has been this year.

    31 | Ederson - 2022/23 Performances

I love Eddie and his crazy pass he make straight down the centre which makes me stop breathing momentarily, but I do feel he could do better for shot stopping. Not sure if he’s slow to react or the range of his leap is poor. Would like to see Ortega get a chance but it will never happen.

Yeah blew before the chance even though the offside looked tight. Whereas our game yesterday they weren’t even blowing with the Liverpool players 2 metres offside. Bent.

    Liverpool (H) | Post-Match Thread

Yeah I thought it was borderline, and wasn’t as much of a tug as the first. Probably lucky that he’d just given him the first. However, Fabinho, Gakpo should have had yellows as well. I’d have also given one to that twat Henderson for that dive in his own box. Literally cannot stand him or...

Brilliant today, absolutely schooled them. Did all of the simple things perfect.

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2022/23 Performances

He’s been a bargain. Considering he’s come straight into our team I think he’s done well. He’s not the most agile of defenders and can get turned, but his passing and pace make up for it.

Are City a better all round team without Haaland?

Question is. Is it because of Haaland, or are the other players trying to find him too much? I do think Alvarez helps link up the play better, but Pep will figure it out I’m sure.

    Leroy Sané

I doubt they have access to the same resources that Sky would have. Although me assuming that is no better than someone judging to be slower than they used to be with no actual evidence ;) The other point is that I can’t find the study published anywhere other than in the far right newspaper...

    Leroy Sané

You’re right he didn’t, the discussion wasn’t about why pep benched him but whether he had lost pace. Like I said previously, I don’t think Pep would have him back (pace or no pace).

    Leroy Sané

I read the article, although I’m less likely to believe what a study by a Mexican football club found compared with what Sky Sports did. Regardless, even if there is some variance between the true speed of the player and that which is recorded, the recordings are always going to be more accurate...

    Leroy Sané

It’s the only stat we have to base it on. Sure, it doesn’t tell us how often he does it, or how quickly he can accelerate, but judgement from the naked eye simply isn’t accurate.

    Leroy Sané

What does some article about Rooney from a shit newspaper have to do with how fast Sane was and is now. Top speeds recorded is certainly better evidence than fans saying ‘he’s lost his legs’ or ‘he’s not as explosive as he used to be’. Submit that.

    Leroy Sané

I was gutted when he left and I'd love for Sane to come back, however, i doubt Pep would have him back unless he groveled which i just cannot see happening. I think its a little unfair for people to say he's not the same player or he's lost his pace, particularly as hes clocked faster speeds at...
