I hope you're correct. Had my first look via Firefox today and was impressed however, most of my browsing will be done on my G1 - and it isn't great on the G1 The pages don't adapt their size too well for mobile browsing. Videos don't play. I presume they must be Flash as the G1 doesn't play...
