De Bruyne's assist to Aguëro v Palace

Yeah, that one was something else too ... I think it's vision rather than skill though. Of course you need the skill to head or pass the ball exactly where you want it, but most top PL players should be capable of doing that IF INSTRUCTED, the point is most players won't see that option. KDB...

    Kompany return date?

Marc Degryse, former Belgian football player (think he played a season or so for Sheff Wed in the PL) and now analyst, has stated exactly the contrary: once the calfs muscles and tendons get thinner and thinner to a point where they cause frequent injuries, a player's career is good as over...

De Bruyne's assist to Aguëro v Palace

Exactly, that got me remembering the goal!

De Bruyne's assist to Aguëro v Palace

Fair play, I'm obviously a big KDB fan, but still some of his vision and passing I find mind blowing. I also acknowledge his weaknesses tbf, just refuse to mention them ;-)

De Bruyne's assist to Aguëro v Palace

I've been doubting to create a seperate thread for this one. Could've put it on the Palace post match thread but I think it's worth a seperate mention. Has anyone else noticed how utterly brilliant De Bruyne's assist to Aguëro was against Palace? When I first saw that goal I reckoned it was...

Inevitable in any football forum I suppose, no matter how you try & organize it. But let's see how it works out...

    Player (and manager) threads

I agree, it's all good when something specific happened like injury, transfer rumour, wonder goal etc. but what about judging a player's general performance?

    West Ham (A) Pre-Match Thread

Slightly off topic but I went to see the Chelsea - Everton game last weekend. If it weren't for crappy defending and an incapable linesman, Everton would've won easily. They outplayed Chelsea in every department. Mirallas looking in top shape again. Besic is one to keep an eye on, excellent player.

    West Ham (A) Pre-Match Thread

Can't believe everyone's benching KDB for this one ... Fernandinho, Silva, Delph De Bruyne, Aguëro, Sterling Would be my pick

Terminology aside, that opportunity one on one with Howard inside the 6 yard box is one that the old Sergio never would have missed. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame him. It's just a fact that he's still to return to best form.

    Everton Post Match Thread

Are you serious? 15-20 min before end. Squeezes himself past last defender (well done!), one on one with Howard inside the 6-yard box but can't get it past the keeper... He'd score those 99 out of a 100 before his last injury

I'll correct myself, for Sergio's standards, he missed a sitter. I'm quite sure you know which situation I'm talking about.

as a city sympathizer but not die hard fan, i rather objectively feel it's gonna go arsenal's way now. can't see them screw up like they usually do. and god knows how i dislike those tarquins.

frustrating game ... stonewall penalty at the final whistle not given + Sergio missed (another) sitter

Player Topic: Kevin De Bruyne (2015/16)

Yep, my thoughts exactly. Way City's playing now, would be boring as sin without the Ginger King

    Lukaku

Exactly but I don't see it leading to a lot of goals, bar at home. Lukaku would perhaps offer different options in away games.

I still think we will win the league

For me 3. Spurs 4. Leicester (if they can maintain their squad in January) 5. Liverpool 6. Manure
