City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

They're still bitter about Barry, Delph and Milner too. Can't really blame them though as we do seem to have a habit of signing their best players.

Where have all the Insects gone ?

Not sure anyone has disputed that insect numbers are decline or that it is a problem. I think the only disagreements have been around the causes of the decline in insect numbers. This article would suggest that numbers of freshwater insects are increasing, while land insects are decreasing...

Premier League Games 5/6 October 2024

Villa seem to be missing McGinn and their Onana. Barkley looks very poor.

He doesn't need too be though. A midfield 3 of Kovacic, Bernardo and Foden would have decent balance and a bit of energy about it. Savinho would play wide right instead of Bernardo and Gundogan could be gently eased back in until he's ready to start games.

Gundogan is the main issue at the moment IMHO. Need Bernardo in there alongside Kovacic with Savinho out wide. I think that would solve most of our problems.

Fulham PL (H) | Man of the Match

Between Kovacic, Gvardiol and Ederson. In the end decided on Kovacic. He played very well and scored 2. He's being a bit hung out to dry at the moment by having a quite immobile Gundogan next to him.

    Fulham (H) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Played well at times and poorly at others. No idea what Guardiola was thinking in leaving Gundogan on. He was running in treacle at that time and not contributing at all and it could have cost us. Interesting to note that as soon as Fulham pulled one back, he took him straight off. I was...

Match Thread | Man City vs. Fulham (05/10/24)

Created plenty but also could have let in a couple more as well. I'd bring on Savinho for Gundogan with Bernardo moving into the middle and also Walker for Lewis, who has struggled defensively against Traore. I feel it would make us a bit more dangerous going forward and a bit more solid...

    Fulham (H) - Sat 5th Oct, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Would have preferred to see Savinho on the wing with Bernardo next to Kovacic and Gundogan on the bench to be honest. We just look a bit more dynamic that way.

The Bluemoon Song Cup 2024 - R3/M129 - P250 - Talk Talk (It's My Life) v Gladys Knight & The Pips (Midnight Train To Georgia)

2 through as well but the one of mine that I really thought had a chance got knocked out last round (unlucky draw I guess). My 2 that are left are almost certainly going out next round after narrow wins against very average competition. At least I am safe from the relegation spots and 10th is...

Where have all the Insects gone ?

I'm not sure my own experience could identify why there is a decline in the insect population. I'm no scientist or expert in the field, so I'd prefer to listen to actual experts to ascertain the overall picture on that subject. If you meant my experience regarding numbers of insects, I'd have...

Where have all the Insects gone ?

A quick Google search would indicate that it's due to a range of factors, including habitat destruction, land use changes, deforestation, intensive agriculture, urbanization, pollution, climate change, introduction of invasive species, application of pesticides.

    Fulham (H) - Sat 5th Oct, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Obviously Emerson in goal. Hopefully Kovacic, Bernardo and Foden in CM with Grealish and Savinho out wide. I'd go with Walker, Stones, Dias and Gvardiol at the back (though Akanji could come in for one of them).

North Stand expansion - seating, ticketing etc

I really don't think standing or seated really would make much difference to the atmosphere and a mix is probably the best solution (though I do hope there will be a better ratio of standing to seating). The main thing is to make sure that it is marketed as the atmosphere end so people that...

North Stand expansion - seating, ticketing etc

I can't agree with that. People who are sitting (whether on padded seats or not) are equally, if not more so, genuine blues who would be more than happy to hep join in the atmosphere. I'm not quite quite sure where this fallacy that only people who wish to stand are genuine blues and create...

North Stand expansion - seating, ticketing etc

I think as long as the club market the stand as the 'atmosphere' end, it should work out ok regardless of the seating/standing configuration. Presumably those who decide to move there, whether standing, general seating or the padded seats, will be relocating or buying tickets there because they...

That would be one very quick bus. The journey from Prague to Vienna by bus or train would usually take about 4 hours.

    Holidays

I'm perhaps a bit biased but I'd say Prague ;-) IMO more to see and do, prettier city, more cultural, more compact and, as such, easy to get round on foot but there is also excellent public transport, better food and beer, overall just a nicer place. Someone from Budapest may disagree though ;-)
