No. Prenton. It’s only busy when Tranmere are home. You literally have to go to the one place that has something on for a crowd on a particular night. Swansea was quiet two Saturdays ago. 2pm and me and my mate were the only ones in a nice bistro for lunch (you’d call it dinner!)

High streets are always silly money unless you know where to drink. There can be some gems down a side street or something. I’ve been ten pin bowling before but we played on the arcades afterwards…

Everywhere round here is dead. Liverpool always very busy. I used The Halfway House in Clayton for the CL Final v Inter and the last FA Cup Final. Half full both times.

Yet city centres are always very busy with nightlife.

I only tend to eat inside but wouldn’t want to eat in a beer garden when people are smoking.

I always understood KDB and Kompany had arranged that. The Belgian scarf tribute in particular was an embarrassment. Surely Arsenal set the £62? I didn’t go despite living in London and we bloody won!

Forget that Villa fans are often wankers, they’re still football supporters and do not deserve to be ripped off like that purely because they’ve made the Champions League. I once told a rag on a train that I thought the compulsory cup schemes they’d been forced in to were awful and I meant that.

The Grand Bazaar is a tourist trap. Only go and haggle if you know what you’re doing. The restaurant and bar touts are also very competitive.

Must’ve been six times now. I’ll take in a match at La Rosaleda too if I can.

I haven’t been away this year but I might try Germany (Düsseldorf or Berlin) this side of Christmas. It’ll otherwise be Malaga around my birthday in January 2025.
