This. I can see mass conversions to the other side of Manchester, and some to Chelsea as well.

Two absolutely revolting clubs. Wonderful watching united suffer, but must it come at the cost of seeing Mourinho happy? I guess it's true what they say, you can't have it all. Looking at the replay of Welbeck's shot, there's no way he could have placed it so poorly unless he was kicked, from...

Little pre-mature I think. I could see them do a Liverpool style spell in mi-table though.

    Arsenal Thread 2013/14

Though Wenger has been tried building since the breakup of the invincible's, it's been more damage control for most of the past ten years. We've undeniably enjoyed the benefits of keeping a settled squad and strengthening considerably - in the form of Ozil but also the less celebrated Flamini-...

Do you think Liverpool fade away then? Can't see that happening unless something happens to Suarez.

I think that applies to Liverpool and Arsenal fans as well.

Does TH mean Tottenham Hotspur? By 'he' are you referring to me? If so, no, I'm an Arsenal fan. Yeah I had to chuckle a little bit too. It felt kind of bad, but funny is funny.

Quite xenophobic too. Too bad that he's a gunner but I guess all clubs have some proportion of unsavories supporting them?

Precisely. The ride has been exhilarating and I'll be happy so long as it continues till the very end, regardless of whether we end up with a shiny prize or not.

This Weekend's Other Games (FA Cup 3rd Rd)

Re: Arsenal Thread 2013/14 I really want him to retire with us, hopefully with some kind of trophy. He really deserves it, fantastic player. Walcott looked lively throughout today, hope the knock to his knee isn't too serious otherwise we're really down to just Podolski up front. At the other...

    Arsenal Thread 2013/14

With Ramsey's hot streak coming to the end and the team's confidence a bit shaken post-Etihad, Podolski and Walcott are coming back at just the right time. The German was looking pretty dangerous before the injury, good to see it looks like he's picking up right where he left off.

True, that is a 5 point cushion at the top whittled away, but frankly sitting at the top of the table for so long made me downright nervous. I'm perfectly happy with where we are right now, especially if we can pick up with a win at West Ham. The ideal place, in my opinion, is not miles out in...

    Arsenal v Chelsea

The result in itself is not in any way unsatisfactory, I think, but you're right the performance was pretty shit. The early season momentum has properly expended itself now and it's a question of how long and how intense this dry spell is going to be. 4 games winless, 2 points from 3 games is a...

    Arsenal Thread 2013/14

If drawing to Chelsea and ending the day second place on goal difference is 'all going wrong', I really, really don't mind. Could not believe the booing at the end, I suppose it's mostly just spoiled kids who can afford to go to the Emirates these days.

Not at all. On the contrary this is rather pleasing, cheers.

    Arsenal v Chelsea

Absolutely. But considering Mourinhos' hoodoo over Wenger I'm just hoping for a draw. That would mean well and truly losing that early season momentum before a very busy time of the year, but a defeat would be terrible for confidence. Not feeling too good about this to be honest, but then I...

This is true and the Champions League is all about those big nights, but I was just a little bit dissapointed that it was Bayern. Again? That's so last season. But we got Barcelona two seasons in a row as well a few years back, so maybe we should have expected it. City-Barcelona will be tasty.
