Seems like a situation where having a solid veteran striker as backup would make more sense one who'd not mind riding bench, having occasional starts and coming on in the latter stages of games. Not sure who that is in this moment or market (ala Fulkrug although i realize he's not available) but...

Agreed. We simply cant bend over backwards and take a c. 20m loss just because our stance is not to block moves of players who voice they might want out.

Not super bummed about not strengthening as we've not lost much... But if Jules leaves thats alot of minutes to fill... He played alot. You could argue Bobb and Savio could take up the minutes but we need some semblance of backup for Haalywood. He's going to have a blinder of a season but...

I just want players who don't whinge and cry even though they've played more games than anyone else... Players who want to be here. If he wants out fine but we shouldn't be settling for a chumps fee just because his feelings are hurt for playing out of his favored position.

I couldn't believe that was him tearing down the middle of the field... NEVER thought he had pace but he showed otherwise in a preseason no matter match.
