Premier League (midweek) Games 25/26/27 April '23

Anything can happen, it shouldn't but it definitely can. If we turn up and play like we did at Villa then we’re screwed because not a single player performed to half of their ability and we were rightly punished.

I don't think he'll get anywhere near the pitch tonight. I might be mad because I would start him just to wind up the Everton fans who seem rabid anyway.

I'm bricking it for the Everton v Newcastle game tonight, surely we can't play as badly as we did against a good Villa side.

    The Title Race 2022/23

You've got this and I'm really pleased for you, you could easily win every game you have left to play and the only problem I can see is that you still have the Champions League to play which could get in the way. Your toughest game in the league is Brighton away and they’re not as good as they...

    Arsenal (H) - Wed 26th April, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

You've got this if you play your normal game, Arsenal are more than likely going to bottle it, again.

You'll batter them in the Cup Final. They struggled today against a Brighton team who I don't think have played as badly for a while as they did today. I just hope that Brighton play like that when we play them in the middle of May.

I've always had a soft spot for Man City. I don't think I've ever had a second team but I did enjoy watching players like Francis Lee, Colin Bell, Mick Doyle and Joe Royle when I was a kid and always enjoyed going to Maine Road even if it did feel like I was taking my life in my hands when...

We're years away, I'll be happy for us to get to the competition and then do ourselves justice while not dropping off in the league. Isn't the CL format changing for next season with every team being guaranteed to play at least 8 games in a league format? I would guess that getting to the CL...

    Newcastle Thread - 2022/23

Joelinton has turned into a fantastic midfielder from a failed forward who wasn't really a forward in the first place. He had some really bad times with us under Bruce and the lad never tried to hide and I kept saying to my son’s that we should drop him further back into midfield, so he has the...

I was a bit concerned after the Villa result because we were garbage. I had hoped that it was because of playing 3 away games or 3 games in 6 days and I guess it now looks like it was one or both of those and although we have 3 games this week, only one is away which will help.

I thought we'd stopped on 21 minutes. Hopefully we can pick it up again on Thursday and we don't have another arse cable tying himself to the goal post.

I would be very surprised if he signed for Newcastle as we've got a wage structure which we'll not put in jeopardy yet.

I think today was a big test for us and we passed it with flying colours. Beat Everton on Thursday and I think we can look forward to playing in the Champions League next season and it will be massively deserved. Spend wisely in the Summer and we could really cement our position in the top 4...

Villa did play very well and could easily have had a couple more. We were still garbage and not one of our players put in even a 5 out of 10 performance. Pope was probably our best player and he still could and should have done better for the Villa second goal. I don't know it the problem stems...

    Newcastle Thread - 2022/23

The Villa game was by far the worst performance since Howe arrived, not a single player played well. Hopefully that's a one off and we get back to winning against Spurs as every single player has something to prove. On a side note, Friday was the 10th anniversary of the horse puncher so maybe...
