I agree to a point...wouldn't necessarily want him to go but three LCB's between the ages of 19 and 22 is one too many. He will stagnate behind Nastastic and Mangala. I think Guidetti will probably get his chance next season with Dzeko probably leaving....just my opinion.

Agreed that if Lescott goes we need a LCB this season and Mangala is a HUGE upgrade on Lescott. I don't necessarily agree with your take on Rekik. Nastastic was also 19 when he debuted for us in Madrid. Three young CB's (all with the potential to be world class) is one too many.

Rekik is 19, Nasty 20, and Mangala 22. One of them will stagnate and not get a chance to develop and it wont be Mangala.

Earlier in the thread someone said the lad can play RCB. Is there any evidence to support this? Seems to play almost exclusively LCB for Porto and from what I can tell is very left footed. If this comes off its a big kick in the nuts for Rekik and Nasastic. Don't understand it personally...

Zabaleta has developed into one of the best RBs in the land. I certainly hope that the gulf is enormous considering Boyata IS NOT A RB. I bet Zabs is a better RB then Hart as well. Some of the comments on this thread are disgraceful. How in the world do you call yourselves Blues...

Pellers should have made the same switch he made a week back. Navas for Boyata with Milner moving to RB.
