    Kalvin Phillips

Correct. Amateurs ball watch, professionals if they do get rightfully kicked up the arse. 30 minutes he went on far, no excuses to not bust your arse, it's a basic requirement. We would all be sitting here happy with him if he did that in spite of him not being good enough.

    Kalvin Phillips

Difference was the others around him tried to do something. He just watched. Amateur level stuff that.

    Kalvin Phillips

Yep, often caught ball watching. I'd rather a headless chicken running all over the place putting effort in than someone just watching the game pass by

    Kalvin Phillips

He has poor defensive awareness and is way too slow. He was ball watching the whole time, amateur level stuff. At least get back into an area where you can affect the play. 30 minute appearance, 0 excuses for ever ball watching, bust your arse and get behind that ball to stop it going in the net...

    Kalvin Phillips

I get it when it comes to match sharpness but there is 0 excuse to not be busting your arse only coming on for 30 minutes. Too often he's larding around and watching the game. He's also nowhere near the level you want. His first, second and even third touch is always negative, will never be able...

    The Title Race - 2023/24

As long as Rodri is available for most I'm confident. This man makes everyone else around him better.

We haven't barely used the right hand side all game so why not put grealish there who is refusing to attempt anything beyond the bare minimum on the ball and get doku an actual touch of the ball

Match Thread | Newcastle vs Man City Carabao Cup (27/09/23)

Grealish plays too safe a lot, I think he would flourish a lot looking to bounce the ball into haaland and making cutting runs past him. He needs to pass and go even if he doesn't get the ball, he's losing the intent of a winger when getting the 1 on 1 opportunity

Kovacic is so good and bobb clearly has the makings of an elite level football player

No reason we can't go and win that.

    Jamal Musiala

I agree with this, walker had essentially been providing the width recently allowing foden to play as an inside forward who can drift

Premier League Games 23/24 Sept '23

I can't believe spurs took off Son. That game was there for the taking and could easily have countered with son. Richarlison does nothing for you there.

Van de beek still there haha

    Kalvin Phillips

Rodri has an impeccable touch, turn and strength so it isn't an issue with him. Phillips looked off balance, slow and meandering but of course it could be the lack of match fitness

Great to see him do well, wasn't sure about him when first signed

    Stupid

    Kalvin Phillips

Has his playing style always looked this slow and plodding?

Can phillips sprint? I can't believe how plodding he looks

Crvena Zvezda (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

Definitely in that final third he is insanely hard to tackle. Moves his feet so quick
