He was asked this question as he was asked other questions. He gave a straight answer; I appreciate directness, whether it pleases some, or none.

    Hmm, think you're mistaking me.

He left Germany an accomplished player. Did City make him a better player still, yes. He's 28, soon to be 29; he's in the best time of his career and he stands to lose two Champions League seasons while in his golden age as a footballer. He deserves better and I think it has little to do with...

A club's run of wins/and losses, occurs in cycles, just like life for all of us, and as you said, there are other, more important things now.

Well, if City can't overturn the ban, and he decides it's best for him to leave, please direct your ire to the club who put him in that position.

I understand Dutch. The way he answered that question, what he will decide if the two year ban is upheld, left little doubt in my mind that, if two years, he will very likely leave, and if one year, he might stay. And as a few here said, he shouldn't be looked at negatively if and when he...

    Creative selfishness? Got it.

He does, looking for a teammate. Most of the time when Mahrez loses the ball, it's while seeking personal glory. Slight difference.

Losing the ball while, for instance, KDB crosses half the pitch and runs into space to the right of him, only for Mahrez to run into three defenders, is not fun for Kevin, especially not in the 90th minute in the Bernabeu. Kevin is a better man than I.

Aguero is a different player; he's a finisher, Mahrez confuses himself for Aguero too many times.

He's a very talented individual, and you need technical players like him in a team. But it's about balance, in football, as in life. His few Mother Teresa moments don't make up for his greedy behavior 90% of the time.

Bad idea. If he misses, and the ball gets to an opposing player, he wouldn't be able to get back in time to prevent them scoring.

When he gets the ball near the penalty area, it's FC Mahrez. Occasionally he passes the ball; he must've had a blackout.

He plays for himself. He's not a team player. I can't get upset when a player has a poor game, but putting yourself before the team, that I have a problem with. And people defending that sort of attitude - what are you thinking?!

Look at pictures of his first year with us; he's developed quite some muscle mass. It's not the same player and man. He was a boy; "Let me talk! Let me talk!". Wouldn't happen today. He's a leader now, like you said in your post.

Optically, perhaps, yea. He must've been nervous, too. How could he not.

Think he's very self-effacing, unlike, say, Mahrez. While Kev is the best player at City, he's not the only star player. Wished he was more assertive - he is, to a point, wish he was more so, especially penalties, also free kicks, wish he takes them, especially in his zone, which is on the...

It may look that way, but when you open your foot and drive the ball to the post, hitting the ball with part of your ankle isn't uncommon. Doesn't make it a bad strike.
