    2 | Kyle Walker - 2023/24

No worse than many of the others with his passing. Kyle had played 80plus mins by the time their winger came on, you’d expect him to be fresher.
  2. I

    Pep Guardiola - 2023/24

Nunes played ok in midweek and showed some good pace, something we lacked today making it easier for Palace to defend the passing from side to side
  3. I

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

If this was the tactic, as it looked, then might as well have brought Gomez on as he’s technically better on the ball.

Crystal Palace PL (H) Post match thread

It was so predictable what was going to happen. Complete lack of movement in the front line, slow, predictable, no urgency, passing for passing sake, and unable to defend well enough when put under any sort of pressure.

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

Was playing as a winger at times today especially late in the game, strange tactic.
  6. I

    Pep Guardiola - 2023/24

Not sure why he was so reluctant to make any substitutions in regulation time, he didn’t even have anyone warming up. Palace were clearly becoming more adventurous but left it too late to change anything and by the time it happened it was too late.

Match Thread | Luton vs Man City (10/12/23)

Besides Phil, zero creativity. Jack strolling around and barely broke out of a jog. Total reluctance to cross or shoot.
  8. I

Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

No shape to the team, totally overrun in midfield although not surprising starting with 2 defenders in there.

Are Gundogan, Laporte, Mahrez and Palmer missed at all?

Gundo definitely and Laporte is better than Gvardiol
  10. I

    January window

Need to get some pace in the team
  11. I

Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Need to revert to a traditional back 4, Teams seemed to have worked out how to play against us and trying to overload the midfield is no longer working.
  12. I

Are we Having a Transition Season?

Teams are attacking us more and we can’t cope, they also seem to have tactically worked out how to combat a central defender stepping in to midfield and overrun the defence
  13. I

    19 | Julian Alvarez - 2023/24

Needs to be dropped to allow a better balance across the midfiel, gives possession away too easily and too often
  14. I

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2023/24

Need a whole new back 4 the way we’re playing, not one of them has performed to a decent standard
  15. I

    25 | Manuel Akanji - 2023/24

Not suited to the role he’s being asked to play but Pep keeps picking him there.
  16. I

    Kalvin Phillips

Although not been good enough, can’t be blamed for the defeats as he hasn’t played
  17. I

    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2023/24

Not sure Kev will have enough of an impact on this team this season. Tough injury to fully recover from and a likely weak spot for further injury
  18. I

    The Title Race - 2023/24

Doubt they can win it with this set of players and system.
  19. I

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

Poor again, even more so for the goal. Not a left back and shouldn’t be anywhere near the 1st team in that position
  20. I

Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

showed up badly that we had 3 defenders playing central midfield, Stones, Lewis & Akanji
