Can't you enable disk mode, connect to PC so it shows as an HDD and copy the music folder over? You might have to enable hidden files and folders in folder options to be able to see the music folder though and the file names of the songs may be completely messed up and unrecognisable all inside...

Intel, dont go to AMD unless you're on a tight budget. I made the mistake of choosing AMD over an i3 that was available at the time too, haven't stopped regretting it still. The i5 3570k is a damn good cpu too. As for a 7850, overclockers have the MSI OC'd 7850 on offer this week for £119.
