I have THESE and haven't needed or wanted another pair since buying them a while back. Bought them to replace an aging pair of CX300's that had seen better days. They've been replaced now by a newer model on amazon but if you can find them anywhere, i highly recommend them.

Check in the top left corner next time you open to see if its autosaving. Mines set to autosave every 5 minutes so my menu lags near enough every time i open it because of saving. I've got used to the 5 second delay now though.

Buy up as many iron ingots and leather strips as possible and just keep making iron daggers. Once you can't make anymore sell them back to the blacksmith one by one to also improve speach. This is the quickest and cheapest way of quickly boost smithing.
