Not saying we’ve been ripping up trees, but it’s all about getting the job done, which we were…however ugly it was at times. COME ON!!!

Now, now, still 2nd at worst, with 1 loss, for the walking wounded. Getting done by a fast, aggressive team playing well.

When all is said and done, we WERE the only unbeaten team in the League, and we will only have lost 1 with 1/4 of the season over. Oh look, Walker done AGAIN and yellow card.

A “fair” result at this point would be 5-0 Bournemouth, but them playing with 10 men.

VAR…contact, but not “intensive”!! “Clear, fair challenge”??? A nice, high follow through is OK now!! BOTH FEET OFF THE GROUND, follow through is mid-shin height!

Strong pressure from B’mouth and very little urgency, as always, from us. Haaland not seeing much of the ball and the wide threat has been non-existent, with one sole exception from Nunes. Without the Eddie double save, this game would fell over already. We look old, slow, devoid of ideas...

85 mins to score 2 goals against a team that is high pressing us and winning the press. Until we get our shit together, it’s going to be a long afternoon!

    Bournemouth (A) - Sat 2nd Nov, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Always hate the long away games, against underdogs, with a record on the line. Bournemouth have been playing very well and scoring on the break, two things that can hurt us. A win would be a very good result today, because it’s clear we are the walking wounded, who have not been lighting up...

Rico plays midfield and “covers” the RB position when given the time to get back. Don’t hate the player, hate the game (he is asked to play!).

My commute is 15 mins, and I like most of the older ORD ladies. In fact, I bought dinner last night and breakfast this morning for the Purser on this trip, as we have flown together before and always got along famously. And, no, it wasn’t breakfast in bed!!

Milan is a 10:30pm ORD dept, so we don’t get to the hotel until 2:30pm local. Few hours kip, bite, sleep, breakfast and leave at 12:30 for MXP. 3pm departure arriving 7pm ORD! It’s a funny one. Takeoff in pitch dark, arrive 2 hours after sunset, with the Sun chasing us home…and winning! Good...

No, not joking. By that metric, every country on earth was created by empire. How far back should we go to create the starting point?
