    Sporting CP (A) - Tue 5th Nov, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

A better guide is the exchange. Bookies typically follow those prices and take their profit by adjusting the odds in relation to that. Weight of money (albeit only 134k on this market at the moment) gives a better indication of probability (see wisdom of crowds) so betfair has City's win...

Match Thread | Bournemouth vs. Man City (02/11/24)

I've done some research for you-Bradley started 10 games. Unless you mean Quansah and Kelleher, you've imagined it.

    Bournemouth (A) - Sat 2nd Nov, 15:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

no surprising omissions from EDS-Wilson-Esbrand starts left back, presumably trying to build up fitness. O'Reilly. Simpson-Pusey and Wright not involved-seemingly with the first team.

Playing sport as you get older

Last couple of years of retirement really tried to improve my fitness: had got to 62k a week on my concept 2 with a 80/20 split of long steady rows and some interval training. Managed to get ill on holiday -first proper week back 50k on rower and 60k on bike erg (spontaneous buy because I felt...

    75 | Nico O'Reilly - 2024/25

Played much better because his first touch was more assured. Looks an immense prospect.

    87 | James McAtee - 2024/25

He played well until fatigue set in-there was one turn on the half way line that was sublime.

    Spurs (A) - Wed 30th Oct, 20:15 | EFL Cup | Pre-Match Thread

I mentioned earlier city’s odds had shortened into 2.66-they have again drifted to 2.92 -similar to how big they were yesterday

    Spurs (A) - Wed 30th Oct, 20:15 | EFL Cup | Pre-Match Thread

Strong bench. Braithwaite came on last night for EDS-guess that makes his participation unlikely?

    Spurs (A) - Wed 30th Oct, 20:15 | EFL Cup | Pre-Match Thread

Interestingly City's odds at the exchange which began at 2.20 to win, drifted all the way out to 2.94 ish-and now slowly back into 2.66. That suggests a reasonably strong team-so I fully expect Ortega, Stones, Ake, Gundogan, Foden, Nunes and even Savio and Lewis to play some part-plus McAtee...

    UK far right trouble

Another thread that sadly needs locking. This is a live prosecution and we all tread a fine line between comment and contempt. The likes of Jenrick and Farage know this too-but are delighted to seize an opportunity to enrage their base. The tedious attempts to justify violence and thuggery...
