It’s almost like they know what they are doing

This mornings flight. It really has been a lot of progress this week, wasn't expecting to see that much progress since the lift on Tuesday

I will put in an application to send the drone up 500m , might just about get it all in if i put a wide angle filter on. Or i might try a load of lower images and stitch them together. either way it should be perfectly possible

Good to meet up with John and have a good look round. Shame to miss the actual lift but plenty of footage of them struggling to get it to line up, but crowbars and good old fashioned kicking it got it done! Footage will be up later this afternoon

Exactly, when you see my video later you can see that is clearly the plan. I imagine the props and end pieces will be removed first thing tomorrow and then the lift will happen. Lots of good footage today though

It really is looking unlikely today, not much activity around there at all now. In reality there are still the supports to remove and I would presume the temporary red end sections will also be removed before lifting so to me it definitely looks like it will be tomorrow. Will send the drone up...

That is exactly what has happened, just put the drone up to see the progress and it’s all hooked up and everyone has disappeared!

Very little activity around it at all, the other cranes are quite active but that new one hasn’t moved at all

My whole YouTube career started with a similar story. 3 well known YouTube droners sat at Anfield one day waiting for a big lift to happen and in the end admitted defeat and went home. I turned up at 6.30am the following day just as they started the lift and I went from getting a few hundred...

I will be there from 6.30am and can hang around until 3.30pm ish, so hopefully will get this, 2 drones, 6 batteries! Back up plan if is raining is to film it from the ground so have 2 cameras for that! SSskies is usually working in the day so he might get the later on footage
