I have just been and flown over , west pillar is completely gone , east still intact. It will be later this evening before I get chance to upload the footage though.

It is exactly that, safe standing at the bottom then normal seats on the 2nd tier. The theory is with everyone standing at the bottom and people sitting above, the rake of the stands is such that it will appear as a single tier. I was on the same tour and the upper tier is really steep
