I dare you to explain the social psychology that generates this comment. This is a very interesting rhetorical device afterall. I have to assume its a reference to people who said wrong things in the past who have been known to use such phrases to excuse their behavior. But i dont see the broad...

I called a person on X "fairly representative" of a demographic i would feel he belongs too. What this demographic is, is left to question in the more particular. The person who reacted and insulted me over this assumed that i meant the entire demographic of elder people, but this is a...

I have done no such thing. You can comment on poor choice of words, but your overreacting entirely and the fashion in which you do says something about you. Bad form to be twisting words entirely and addressing people with slurs online.

I have no agenda versus old people. If you understood my words as such, then i guess i must admit i poorly worded it for that was not my intention, although i have to say that "demographic" is not synonymous to age group. I do not equate all elder people to this person, nor is that something...

That is the ideal enviroment, a simply better world where things are better because people care for eachother and do their best to make it better for eachother. I'm a rather tall and strong lad, and while pacifist of nature i have had situations where i was gratefull for the fact that such...

Note that the points of similarity i mentioned were "anti-immigration advocates", no i dont think most pensioners are nessecarily fascists and yet this lad has some questionable stuff he endorses on his page. I always though, from an antropological p.o.v, that part why elders are distrustfull...

Yes i need to keep reminding myself im here to entertain, not to have serious discussions which seem to go nowhere ..

Ah take in mind one thing, this user on X called "based pensioner" is to a degree somewhat representative of some of his demographic too. https://twitter.com/BasedPensioner Dude is for real, no bot this time. Which is to say, he wont be around forever, a fair number of them wont be. I'm...

the Oxford dictionary describes it as "an autonomous program on the internet or another network that can interact with systems or users." Your lucky that i do this free of charge.

There are a lot of bots on twitter nowadays, maybe more so than real people. Its a bit of a dig at the aspects of twitter that are still "real", there is also a lot of sex related advertisement and pages that randomly follow people possibly as a means to get attention/clicks.

"X", or Twitter seems to be going downhil fast anyway. I got like an army of pornstar followers on Twitter.. Which is all to well i think. I'm not a fan of billionaires trying to take over the narrative I just dont know what the details are, but i think i can dig it if Starmer worded it well.

What is this about. I'm kinda interested in what sort of "strongly worded letter" was delivered here, but i guess i just ought to google it.

This is a result then of heated debates regarding right wing stances? Kinda sad, and perhaps a bit unconstructive if those people will hence gravitate more towards social media that act as a echo chamber.

    Middle East Conflict

I have no interrest in misuse of terms. It's not because matters are complex, that we are going to solve it trough simplistic thought imho, well thats a general aproach i have to such contentious terms like Zionism. And observably contentious seems to be what it is and why it elicits varied...

Well i mean you first asked me to post it in another thread which i did https://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/threads/uk-far-right-trouble-july-august-24.365402/post-17393720 I then started a debate on the understanding of the word zionism. Because you redefined zionism for the purpose of your...

But its exactly your clarification which was contentious too. You brought up a link. In that link 90% of the brittish jews claimed that they support the existance of the Jewish state, and 59% of the brittish jews self described as zionists. You made the claim, prior to providing that link...

The reason why i commented on West Didsblue, is that he misquoted his sources and redfined Zionism for the purpose of defending a misquantification of zionist support in society. I would argue it would be unfair to attribute anything but the desire to scrutinize a verifiably incorrect claim by...

    Middle East Conflict

I believe this matter of "reductivness" is what spawned the topic. The person i reacted to reduced the term to "people who support the existance of a jewish homeland" withought further nuance. Furthermore, he misquoted his source to wrongly quantify those who are self described Zionists, based...
