Foolish, perhaps. I have to hope the polls are somewhat wrong because the alternative makes the world seem a rather bleak place.

    I almost don’t want to tempt fate but I’ve been reading too much polling data to not at least try and guess… State - Harris % - Trump % Arizona - 49 - 50 (Trump +1) Georgia - 51 - 48 (Harris +3) Michigan - 53 - 47 (Harris +6) Nevada - 51 - 49 (Harris +2) North Carolina - 46 - 52 (Trump + 6)...

The beauty of it is that I'm pretty sure this part of his stand-up was designed exactly to stoke the ire of those people.

Kemi Badenoch - Elected Tory Leader

In a word? Yes. Given that isn’t going to change though, maybe our best hope is 25 Tories defecting to Lib Dem.

I can't see Gervais being discussed without pitching in with Stewart Lee's five-minute long impression of Ricky Gervais attempting to say what literally cannot be said.

Kemi Badenoch - Elected Tory Leader

All due respect, as I know I would react the same way if I saw these numbers with no context. But Selzer is a living legend in political data science circles. When everybody zags, she zigs, and she's generally always right - she's been right for coming on two decades. The last two elections had...

    The Title Race - 2024/25

There were many on here saying a point away at Newcastle was a poor result. It certainly wasn't, they are a decent team and they can take points off anybody in this league, we squeaked past them in the last minute to win last year. The same is true for Chelsea, Spurs, Villa and Brighton. So...

As @SWP's back likes to remind us - the increasing bifurcation of gender voting patterns that was initiated since Roe v Wade was overturned has blown a hole in polling over the last 2 years. Repeatedly. In special elections, in mid-terms, in congressional elections, in gubernatorial elections -...

Piggy backing off this. Some interest early voting numbers. When you look at the registration of voters who have voted early: It looks pretty much like there’s an even number of Rep and Dem early voters… but… Some polling of early voters has been released today. Note that polling somebody...
