There are loads of places they could go. With bars that could service them But to command the +, that is the most obvious place for a premium.

Yeah he said Danny W. had said the location was still open to debate. I don't particularly believe him (Danny rather than Tim) on that one, I think it is pretty set. I found the recent statement of capacity of the GA+ bar being 300 much more interesting fwiw.

Sorry meant to respond to this but slipped by. See below level by level for ease, but as a summary it is an additional capacity for around 12,420 punters with access to various bars on different levels. Of which 500ish is the sky bar (true) hospitality and 300-600 is the GA+ on L1 of tier 2...

The rake/pitch of the slope is the same on the south stand as well btw. I.e the SS one isn't any steeper. It is only a bit higher and further forward because it is an additional tier on top of tier 2, where as this one joins into tier 2. Rather than a difference of the rake.

Looks about 5 or 6 metres further back, the last GA seat, fwiw. Not that much in it.

    New Music - 2024

Had a listen and a half. Quite like it when it moves from slightly 'lounge' to simpler soulful. Think it will reveal a lit more as it settles. Unlike the new King Stingray album which most likely won't, but is still a fun and pleasant listen.

Hellocity will hook you up, don't you worry. We should maybe think of pinning an FAQ page here though.

Fire away, no need to bother with mentions or credit etc. You and disco seem to be the only ones keeping that page alive lately.

Was thinking about you saying this. So for a sense of scale in a more relatable context, here is the skybar piece at it's right height and size, on Deansgate. On its own between the two towers, and as part of the whole.

I guess their logic is that the most of the week on non-match days there is ample parking on site, and on match days many will come by public transport anyway.

What he said ^. Exactly what I expected it to be. Not a sub-genre or style I could ever get into, but don't find it unpleasant to listen to in the slightest. Couldn't particularly engage with it much, but another worthwhile album of note ticked off my list I guess. 6.

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Interesting line in Pep's presser. 'I want to stay two more years, but if I am not good enough I will not be here. Same as the players'. TENSIONS, aye.

From what I remember, nothing. The minimum required Acc spaces, cycle spaces and thats it it joins on exiting parking on Alan Turner way. There is a 100+ page transport assessment that effectively justifies this, all the different public transport routes available, and this is not uncommon in...

Guess you can see the sense in focusing all the terracing in the middle block, to get it done sonthe skybar terracing steel can overhang them now without needing to squeeze in the last few rows under it.

Havent had a chance to watch it yet, but as mentioned before the truss unlocks a fair bit to then fly up.

The only manager in the league to have won the title! Win it this year and that run keeps going.

Ok, will try it at some point. Just found out that the support act for Idles is a Willie J Healy. While it sounds pleasant enough at a quick spin, a bit of a mismatch of mood. I was hoping they would bagsy Snash or even Soapbox for a proper wild evening, but seems not to be.

Rob, Spires, you guys have any issue with me starting a 'best album of 2024' thread? Nothing too clever, just a good old PM.me your top 10 albums of the year and lets see what the numbers spit out. If there is any meed or appetite for such a thread. Wouldn't do it every year, but as it has...

Good spot. They look like hand grip toppers, presumably to get them started by hand for speed, before the cap is removed to tighten with a tool. If so, they'd use whatever colour they come in from whatever they have lying about. Or the ebay order didn't match the description :). I would like to...
