City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

That's not how either our statement nor even the PL one reads. The panel upheld the need for there to be rules, and the concept of the rules. But not the rules themselves, as I read it. 'The Tribunal found that both the original APT rules and the current, (amended) APT Rules violate UK...

Did they though? The club argue it.

They won't. As in, the hotel won't manage the bookings. The suites onto the stand are outwith the hotel demise, they are for the club to manage. They are interestingly not even in Watg's scope, effectively separate from the hotel. Even if some do get in, they are separated from the rest of the...

Wouldn't they only consult the club if numbers of their members had an appetite for it? It doesn't seem to be something the club wants. Doesn't seem to be something the supporters particularly want or plare pushing for. Wouldn't really change otherwise.

North Stand expansion - seating, ticketing etc

Has there ever been any appetite for it whatsoever? Have any of the fan reps or groups ever pushed for it?

It won't be applied at all, retrospectively or otherwise. Unless the majority of PL votes for it, of course. The panel can't make the PL amend it's rules, they bow need to go rework them, to the recommendation, then get them voted through. Can't see that happening. This could go on for a while.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Top read that. I found myself thinking that earlier, what happens next. If the PL amend the rules as recommended, who votes those through. Otherwise, it is scrap them, or try something altogether new. What happens in the meantime.

Thanks, despite an obvious joke wide open there, I got that from the club statement.

'Rules are good, there should be rules. Just not the ones you proposed, implement, and unfairly applied, as those are unlawful'. PL - 'the panel admits there should be rules'.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Haha Sky. When the reports of the challenge came out, 'this is an attempt to undermine the 115 by challenging the very principles of the rules'. Now that this news breaks 'this does NOT, we repeat NOT have anything to do with the 115, just to reiterate Completely separate to the 115'.

'The award document was sent to both City and the Premier League on September 25, and yet was only sent on to the remaining 19 top-flight clubs today. Arbitration rules dictate that both parties have to agree before the findings of the panel can be shared but The Times understands the delay was...

Agree, and well said. I've tried to mention their efforts whenever I see it on the flyovers. Even working at those heights, in this weather etc. The cable connection platform was like the old shipyard cranes, and generally a lot of skill and stomach needed for all these works.
