    Could have used him today.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

Foden created some chances early on through his crossing at RW but faded in the 2nd half.

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2024/25

Okay, lets give those mistakes aside given the lack of training. He is simply not gonna offer anything going forward. The touch is awful and will be exploited for the press alot.

    75 | Nico O'Reilly - 2024/25

This guy can throw his giant frame around, we need him in midfield. Fuck, id play him as the DM, with Foden and McAtee and just see what a full city academy side does. Im tired of the old geezers.

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2024/25

He was the best creator today. Maybe he can do that in the middle too? Letting us play another proper winger as well and moving on a midfield player who isnt dynamic enough.

    Pep Guardiola - 2024/25

City: Injury crisis. Me: Okay that sucks, guess that means we will have to rely on some of our promising youth. City: Gonna play the seniors into the ground. Me: Okay well, that doesnt instill confidence in the youth, atleast dont make the midfield as weak as possible. City: Here is a...

Gotta somehow teach Gvardiol the John Stones role so he can make more runs through the centre. This goal threat cant be a coincidence anymore, and wont happen at LB (in those traditional spaces).

At thus point. I hope he makes no subs, let these players liveout the whole 90 mins of crap, the bench dont need it. Then grill them hard.

Ffs Foden. Nunes our best forward player for the past 2 weeks.

Nunes in the middle, Foden LW, Bernie RW?

If the wingers are actually fit, get both on. Put Foden and McAtee/Nunes in the middle.

This is quite easy for bournemouth and Pep must see it. Bournemouth build on a wing (say left wing) with a triangle of 3, then we match them with our RB, RW and RF (Bernie), then they pass it back to the CB, triggering Bernie to press them, quickly get by him and now have 3v2. Such easy wing...

Im genuinely surprised Pep still sees Gundogan and Kovacic as a combo. Its always been bad, and maybe the injuries are forcing his hand, then he needs to have some faith in McAtee, Lewis or O Reilly in there instead.
