City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Etihad have NOT had exponential growth since 2009. The arse fell out of the business from about 2015. Post-covid and post-restructuring they are recovering strongly.

100% concur with this. A brilliant aside to the factual stuff was his view on Cliff's email and linking it speculatively to the 115 case. All very positive. I'll let someone else explain...

115 woudn't have happened under Scudamore's watch and neither would APT rules have been introduced on the fly. He was the master at finding the compromise to satisfy all 20 clubs.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I was reading the reaction on a Newcastle forum and they were saying, based on the size of the redaction, it was someone with a short name - no more than 10 letters. Coinicidentally, the Arsenal vice chair who didn't shake Khaldoon's hand is called Tim Lewis. So my money is on him and Arsenal.

    The Title Race - 2024/25

But since 17/18 we haven't "often" fallen to pieces. Liverpool have won twice out of six league games. Agree one win only is not the ebst stat.

    Arsenal Thread | 2024/25

Last league season "absolute shite" is absolute bollocks. We scored 3 fewer than Arsenal but conceded 4 fewer: 23/4 City 16 - 3 ( corners/set pieces) 23/4 Arsenal 19 -7 (corners/setpieces) This season they are looking great on corners with 3 scored but 2 conceded on corners/set pieces. we...

City "have made the PL uncompetitive"

20/21 was competitive. On 19th December in 20/21 Liverpool won 7-0 away at Palace. The media went wild “best team in the world, got Pep’s number etc”. Liverpool odds on favourites and we were lingering in 6th place and 8 points behind. And then they blew up and Gundogan did Gundogan...

    Breaking records/stats thread

Those 12 consecutive PL wins have all been won with a margin of at least 2 goals. That is an all-time English top-flight record going back to 1888. Previous best was 8 wins.

    Media discussion - 2024/25

As per the athletic interview Bloom said about APT: Bloom: I don’t want to talk too much about that because it has gone to arbitration and we are going to get a ruling on that soon. We (Brighton) are outsiders. Each club, legally, are able to do that. I don’t think it’s great for the reputation...
