    Media Discussion - 2023/24

As MillionMilesAway has just said, here is an example of them taking a swing at a sun journalist for an article about Walker: https://www.football365.com/news/the-sun-hatchet-job-kyle-walker-mediawatch

The answer to your question is Yes or No. It depends! Here is one link. See the bottom of page 19 for specific reference to City. https://skift.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Etihad-Response-to-US-Carrier-Allegations-31-May-2015.pdf The web link has disappeared for the other legal doc (the...

Simon Cliff said in an email sent at at the end of April 2014: "Khaldoon said he would rather spend 30 million on the 50 best lawyers in the world to sue them for the next 10 years." The football association, according to the email, now had the possibility "to avoid the destruction of their...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It was the baby of @Prestwich_Blue when he linked to documents filed in a New York court about the Open Skies legal case between the Big 3 American airlines v the Arab airlines from UAE and Qatar. Colin's point was that the documents were in the public domain and proved ADEC funded Etihad to...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yes, it is a protectionist con and all the arguments were chronicled in great detail on here before UEFA FFP was introduced in 11/12. Back then there was even some media acknowledgement that it would suit the "big boys" best. But the club chose to work within the rules and not to challenge the...

Yep - as I said, busy bastards :)

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

IIRC you posted something ages ago suggesting something like this. I thought at the time it was a good idea. I think it should start with these 2: Do they represent fraud? If it's fraud why isn't this in a criminal court? I don't think these points have been mentioned yet... :) only joking...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

For the sake of accuracy, it was 9 clubs and it was a legal filing and not a letter to the media. Also, it wasn't demanding a sanction but requesting the CAS decision was not delayed by beyond the season end by appeal. From CAS: 32. On 9 March 2020, 9 Premier League clubs filed an application...

The Ceferin crap is just that. The Telegraph have twisted his words (not many) from a long interview into a sensationalist headline. He's said the same thing previously as well and he would, wouldn't he, to justify the UEFA decision to charge us in the first place. The article/interview sits...

So, both Omar Berrada and Soriano attending and voting at Premier League meetings. It will be fun for them both discussing certain issues there! Then, Mubadala and INEOS having a pre-existing business relationship. City Lite at the swamp ;)

I listened again yesterday to the 93.20 archive pod they put out with Stefan and Lloyd going through the 93 Page CAS2 judgement the day after it was dropped in 2020. Their first comments were essentially laughing at the nonsense of Harris being able to analyse the document, make a legal...

He's re-posted his thread from the other day that was commented on here. He got his facts wrong again in that thread. He's now added the Braham Diaz story with email AND goes on to invite whistleblowers from City emploeyees.

I don't really care what the fuckers on RAWK think and it makes zero difference to the outcome of our case but another one here seeing the light :)

He is superb on Twitter with other financial cases - Chelsea, Everton, Forest, United shares, United sale - and their fans learn from him or, abuse him and he bans. He is invited on rival fans podcasts because he is so bloody good and then gets invited back. Talks about the other cases, earns...

Link to the Telegraph article here https://archive.ph/5qIVY Smells of bollocks. "Telegraph Sport understands there will be developments as early as next week, although precisely what is unclear. Neither side has been prepared to discuss any part of the case. As per the published written...

Not a chance this shit happens under Scudamore's watch. All would have been put to bed after CAS. He gets buried by one or two of his quotes that sound shit out of context, but he was also very pro-City because our arrival on the scene helped enormously with the uptick in the TV revenues.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Be careful what you wish for :) If its the Big6 responsible for the delay as alluded to by Kieran Maguire and we are named in that "elite" group you know how this ends in the media. It's our fucking fault. :)
