That was due to direct government sanctions and not a decision by an "independent" regulator. It's the "independent" bit I find a bit weird, why not just call it a goverment regulator?

I don't think the issue is purely the number of games, it's also the shrinking of the time for the players to have a decent break between the end of one Premier League season to the beginning of the next. As has already been said Haaland appears to have benefited massively from getting a decent...

Not with egg and chips, not with a cooked breakfast, not with anything at all. I don't eat tomato ketchup either, I like to food to taste like what it is. I cook tomatoes in a small pan with a little olive oil to go with a cooked breakfast.

Ditto - every new one (not matter how much) and every high value one.

Went to the original one in Sale not long after it opened. Valet parking was a novelty, great atmosphere and food was really good. Went to the one at Ashton Moss last year, walked out after looking at the prices and seeing some of the food on other tables, no comparison.

Fun to read all the hype though 8-)
