Match Thread | Man City vs. Wolves (04/05/24)

Strange half that. Complete domination without being spectacular and with very few chances created. Haaland has been unstoppable. Gvardiol excellent. Rodri and Kova running the show again in the middle. Foden decent. Bernie a bit of a passenger again. KDB playing like he was on glue for...

Arsenal were the better side and could have been 3 or 4 up by the time they got the pen but the way it panned out with the ref playing such a major part, it leaves a sour taste.

I don’t remember any English team spending as much time rolling around on the floor as this Arsenal side. Really good team. Awful gamesmanship.

8 mins injury time. They do realise Arsenal are winning?

Gabriel will never hit one as well as that again in his life.

Surprised he didn’t give a pen there.

It’s not impacted on what Raya was trying to do. He went for a stupid punch and made the stupid punch. It was weak, shit goalkeeping and the ref has let him off the hook.

If you give a foul for that, you are effectively saying that it’s a non-contact sport where keepers are concerned.

This Travers in net for Bournemouth can’t kick a football properly. A professional footballer who cannot kick a football.

But we’ve given our opinion and you won’t have it. If it was a pen, the majority on here would say it was a pen.

Well that’s not what we were told when Walker got cleaned out against Chelsea and the ref gave a free kick to them.

They don’t have a clue but we knew that already.

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2023/24

Nobody doubts what he has given this side. If this was the Kyle Walker - Last 5 years thread nobody would question him. However, this is the Kyle Walker - 2023/24 thread and at the moment he is a complete liability.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2023/24

I don’t think he can be trusted to start in away games. Fine playing at home, or coming off the bench for the last 20 mins away but he’s just too much of a wild card at the moment. He wasn’t helped by having that braindead idiot behind him today though.

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

He is excellent on the ball 99% of the time but every single game, almost without fail, he plays a suicide pass that puts us in trouble. On the plus side, it’s a nice change to see a defender attacking and winning the ball from a corner.
