    João Félix

Absolutely - the total lack of performance when we were far and away the best team in Europe that year will always niggle

    Welcome to City Maximo Perrone

Probably because left footers are rarer and they are less likely to be shoehorned into other positions. Right footers generally have to improve their left in case they have to play LW or LB. Maybe anyway!

    Pep Guardiola - 2022/23

He's taking the piss here, probably be the most straightforward 433 we'd all pick

    João Félix

Havertz likely to be binned now. Of course the twat only has one relevant goal on his Chelsea CV... Not really sure what the strategy is with the way they want to play

    Is everything ok?

Are City a better all round team without Haaland?

Re the midfield pressing - we're playing 442 when De Bruyne plays. The team fall back, including wingers. It's a choice we have to make now - energy with others vs. absolute moments of magic from de Bruyne. Teams can still carry mercurial talents and I'd always back Kev to produce the goods...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

False 9 was a good education for him and he did that role as good as any. His versatility might be hindering him slightly, but conversely it's potentially a huge advantage, with him having more opportunities

    82 | Rico Lewis - 2022/23 Performances

    Like their £50m Wan Bissaka!

    RIP Gianluca Vialli

Agree and that's what makes him all the more remarkable. Not going to list others here, but it's a very short list I'd suggest. I know every death is sad in its own way, but seems worse somehow for someone like Vialli who really seemed to enjoy life.

    82 | Rico Lewis - 2022/23 Performances

Wouldn't shock me to see him get an England cap by the end of the season. He's so good. Even threw out a wild stepover towards the end!

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, this rocky patch is lasting a while now. His really impressive performances have been the exception rather than the norm this season

    RIP Gianluca Vialli

Such a sad shame, he was universally liked

    Chelsea (A) - Thu 5th Jan, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

Slightly concerned about discipline tonight. Chelsea's centre halves will definitely try and rile Haaland after Everton did at the weekend. Hopefully he scores a couple and then kicks one of them right up the arse

Lack of pace on the wings

If someone decent gets hold of him in the next year or so there's probably a very good centre half in there

    TV Series

No doubt it's been mentioned a few times, but I just finished The English and thought it was a superb piece of television. It was more like cinema with the sweeping vistas and the narrative arc, but with all the time to let the story mellow and unfold. Also, I think Rafe Spall is a bloody...

Lack of pace on the wings

I am a huge rodri fan and rate him really highly. He is not and never will be better than Fernandinho though.

Lack of pace on the wings

All this talk about systems, the biggest one for me has been the 442 we play when out of possession, which is designed to cover Kev's deficiencies fitness wise. We're not in the right shape to win it high up the pitch anymore

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2022/23 Performances

Bored shitless of this now. He's probably worn the fans down enough for us to happily wave him off. He's been poor this season too.

Everton (H) | Post Match Thread

We'll win the league. Not playing well with a few absolute stinkers today, but in terms of games actually played this is mud November in a normal season. We'll be fine
