    Ticket Pricing for Inter (H)

Judging by these two articles, and the Slovan Bratislava ticket price, they're all going to be expensive: https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-confirm-staggering-champions-29867829...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I don't know mate, but I think he either reads this forum or has had a look through my website because he mentions at times some of the points I've made. I'm really pushed for time at the moment, but have a few belting videos up my sleeve which when I've finished them are going to expose this...

Dynamic ticket pricing coming to football

Dynamic pricing is a good idea if your stadium doesn't sell out and you don't have many season ticket holders. You don't need a computer to work it out either Just charge £1 for each row you sit further back. It would work well in the lower leagues, allowing clubs to capitalise on big home...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

In the quiet corners of London town Every United fan is down Down at the thought of what they know City's gonna do five in a row

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yes you're absolutely right about those points, because if you're doing invoice based accounting it doesn't matter when the money actually moves gets paid etc, that's part of your cash flow forecast/management. If ADEC are helping fund the deal, that's nothing to do with City. We've no idea...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

All the reported values are £40m for Etihad and £10m for Etisalat deals. There are various alleged payments from ADUG for £67m, £90m etc but if true without seeing what money went from City to ADUG it's impossible to draw any conclusions. I get the impression City leant ADUG money to invest...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

All the info is there if you look, but it takes time, so most people don't bother. I thought I'd still through it all just to see how bad it could be. The bit about depreciation swung it though.

That's made me laugh! To be honest it didn't take that long once I had read it all.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Sorry I have not been on for a while. This sort of thing is so rare, you really have to have done something really bad and cost someone (usually the government ie HMRC) a lot of money. As I say, prosecuting would mean accounts would have to be ammended and millions of pounds of VAT repaid to...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Hopefully this will cheer you all up! I have done some analysis of the PSR case based on the information provided by Rui Pinto and Der Speigel, here: https://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/sponsorship-money-paid-for-by-the-state-a-2ad5b586-1d82-4a21-8065-f3c081cd91a4 Der Spiegel...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I don't think this is the case. This is a civil matter going through a private arbitration process, usually that's enough. Whatever the panel decides, doesn't necessarily mean there will be a criminal investigation. Was Roy Keane criminally charged for assaulting Haaland? Firstly someone has...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

You need 2/3 of the clubs to form a quorum, otherwise the meeting cannot go ahead. Ie at least 14 clubs Then a 2/3 majority of 14 which is 10. So a motion could be passed if there are as few as 14 clubs there and 10 vote in favour, (or even 2 for, 1 against and 11 abstain). Clubs can also...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I've read up on this and understand it now. The rules and articles all say what ProjectDriver was saying. It can be the case that the rules might say 2/3 of those voting or alternatively 2/3 of those present. In the latter abstentions count, but the Premier Rules and Articles of Association...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

On your first point, it's 8.23 mins into that video where Alex Phillips (formerly UEFA's head of governance and compliance who played a key role in drawing up the FFP rules) states: " the key part of it was the break even rule so that clubs could not spend more than they earn the concept was...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Is that a standard legal interpretation or is that the Premier League interpretation that the have always used? If it's the latter then that might be what City are arguing. If not In barking up the wrong tree and thank you for pointing it out.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

My take on that would be, it has to be. If you had 20 clubs present 2 were for 1 was against and 17 abstained, is it really sufficient for just 2 to approve a change? If voters who abstain don't care it might be okay, but I really don't know

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but Martin Ziegler at The Times tweeted this in February 2024 (see image). So these ATP rules were amended in November 2023 based on 12 votes for, 6 against and 2 abstentions. Obviously all 20 clubs voted, but only 60% voted for the change, yet it...

Thanks for your reply. Sorry for the delay in responding. I will get on with your suggestions, but I've been sidetracked with some personal stuff since my last post.

I totally disagree. Any statement would be misinterpreted, twisted and seized upon. City have kept shtum and quite rightly IMHO Let them mouth off, give them enough rope and they'll hang themselves. There is a highly dubious video documentary on YouTube which I have ripped into here...
