    Correct. Burnley's win prevented Wolves from winning their 3rd title in a row but Wolves did win the FA Cup beating Blackburn 3-0 in the final. I think a Blackburn player broke his leg in that match but he doesn't like to talk about it.

    It's not so much spoken as written that's excruciating. I'd never seen these written with 'of' until about 20 years ago so it's pretty recent and increasingly widespread.
