    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

He's better on the right than he is on the left IMO. Thought he was good last week, he was excellent today. A fully fit and firing Foden makes a big difference to this team.

The performance was outstanding. The passing was crisp, we created lots of chances and we where completely dominant. Sadly our finishing was awful. What was Foden thinking for the 2 on 1? Abysmal play. Haaland and Laporte missed guilt edged chances and KDB couldve had a few on another day too...

Potentially yeah, I think Foden's future is more central personally. As good as he can be out wide he does get isolated sometimes.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Think we need another midfielder if Bernardo and Gundagon go or drop Foden to midfield and bring in a wide player. Not keen on Chilwell personally but the other 2 would be unreal signings.

Arsenal (A) | Post Match Thread

Struggled to keep hold of the ball 1st half. Bit tentative and nervous I thought. 2nd half we were brilliant though. Really professional, swooped in on Arsenal's mistakes and started to keep hold of the ball. Restricted them to very little. A real psychological blow to Arsenal that and a huge...

    Arsenal (A) - Wed 15th Feb, 19:30 | Pre-Match Thread

He's really bought into the whining culture of the Arsenal fan base. A proper victim mentality and his whining on the sidelines is embarrassing to watch. I hope we smash the tomorrow.

    Arsenal (A) - Wed 15th Feb, 19:30 | Pre-Match Thread

Me either. I'd go the same 3 defenders that played yesterday and Ake at left back to cover Saka. I think the team mainly picks itself. The big dilemma is who we go with in midfield. Do we go with Bernardo or Gundagon or both and drop out 1 of the forwards? KDB will definitely play as will...

    Aston Villa (H) - Post-Match Thread

Great 1st half, probably our best 45 minutes since pre World Cup. Not at our best but we were very fluid at times and created lots of chances. The tempo was very good and the build up play from back to midfield to the front was much slicker. 2nd half we weren't good at all though. Akanji cannot...

    Spurs (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

One thing I am sick and tired of is the constant rotating at the back. Ake had a superb game at left back against Arsenal, completely controlling Saka and instead of sticking with it and just putting Laporte / Dias in at CB to replace Stones, Pep made 3 changes moving Ake to CB, Lewis to LB (a...

    Transfer Strategy

The midfield is the biggest problem and it's compounded by the lack of balance in the full back positions currently. There isn't enough energy or dynamism in the midfield and because of that our forwards get very average service. Grealish, Mahrez, Foden, Alvarez and Haaland would all improve...

    Spurs (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Dreadful once again away at Spurs. We never looked like scoring at all, the only one that took the fight to Spurs was Grealish. The rest of them were awful. 2nd to every ball, vulnerable to the counters, no creativity in midfield. Very very poor. We may aswell play with a false 9 if we're going...

Huge huge game this one. Arsenal have slipped up and we can't waste the opportunity to finally put some pressure on. Up the Blues!

I do wonder if this signals that KDB may drop deeper next season to play alongisde Rodri if we did sign both Bellingham and Maddison (and dropping Foden to midfield) who are both more attacking midfield players. Assume this is also dependent on Gundo and Bernardo leaving. It certainly brings...

    It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Given the rumours of a fall out, I'm not massively shocked by this. Sad the way his City career has come to an end as he wont play for us again now. His sending off against Fulham seemingly the start of his downfall. You've got to hope we have a big summer window in us now. A LB and CM the...
