Chelsea Thread - 2022/23 | Pochettino confirmed as new manager

I agree that there's a big difference between tough and petulantly dirty. I hope we don't go down that road as it serves no one. All I'm saying is that we do certainly need some steel, so it's a risk we have to take at this point, I think. I also agree that Poch is probably a short term fix.

An interesting slur. As in Ex-Machina artifical? I hope so. If Poch turns out to be an AI robot we could be on for some great times.

You're right. The game vs Leicester was a disgrace. That idiot referee Clattenburg later admitted that the only reason he didn't hand out multiple reds to Tottenham was so he couldn't be blamed for their title failure. Jeez. It's a concern if we go down that road in the long term. However, in...

This is what me and mine would like to see this weekend.

I have no idea. Sounds weird. Do you have a link to the article?

Same. Just here for the pay cheque and proximity to family it seems.

I didn't want Sterling when Tuchel brought him in, as I could see how ineffective he'd become at City. However, it's unfair to judge him within the current Chelsea set up (haha, set up - there isn't one). If you put Haarland in our team right now he'd look significantly less god-like.

Yep. Not good. Don't worry though, it's not as bad as having to survive the current Conservative Government.

Narcissist, amateur psychologist?! These are all your references. Seems to me this is a pot and kettle situation. It also occurs to me that anyone who would even have the idea of a narcissist of the week award in their head is someone who generally feels pretty superior to everyone else, most...

Not me bro. Referenced in all honesty in response to having to read one too many posts declaring City to be most perfect club in the world, but past that now. I genuinely look forward to educating myself on the matter. And let's face it, no Chelsea fan is in a position to be slinging shit at...

Haha, like by your new mate. Of course! Sorry, but I'm still not getting your homo erotic reference. Don't bother explaining any more. Maybe it's for those 'in the know.' Your new mate obviously understands pretty well though! Fate has brought you both together it seems :)

I respect him for trying. He loves the club. But the teams he's put out since taking control again have left most Chelsea fans in a state of shock. I understood, to a degree, the defensive strategy vs Real Madrid, but the same strategy at home to Brentford?? Love ya Frank, but you're killing us.

It's a very good point. However, given that we all know that most (not all, but most) journalists are heavily influenced by the editorial need for clicks, at this moment I'm very interested to do my research from the City perspective.

I think on reflection I'd like to add that I too am guilty of being a little confrontational in reply to you, by way of chosen terminology, so in order to at least chill things out, I apologise. Using diggy words isn't big or clever.

Not psychology mate. Just opinion. I don't need to block anyone. I'm always optimistic that even people like yourself who apparently only seem interested in confrontation (albeit in your case the passive aggressive, slightly weasel type flavour), can eventually find within themselves the...

So would I. That's not even an insult imho. That's the reality. Frank apparently has no clue.

You're entitled to your opinion, although I think that your response is primarily triggered out of a desire to 'bond' with your new mate whom you're now defending (I got your back son!) than anything else. Whatever. Maybe just leave me alone and try to not be a troll? :)

I am looking forward to reading this later. It's always good to be educated on things you may think you know a little about but maybe don't.
