    Amar Fatah

Why? He wouldn’t get a single minute behind Grealish, Doku, Bobb, Savio, Foden, Bernardo and McAtee. Would be better off loaning him to Girona, if he’s even good enough for them

Claudio Echeverri/On Loan at River Plate

    Scored for Argentina today

    Amar Fatah

He’s miles of our level, afwul defensively

Alvarez done deal - £82m to Atletico

Should be getting £80m+ for him, but there’s no way Atletico will be able to pay that. Most clubs in Europe seem skint
  5. D

    Kalvin Phillips

Completely unfair to put Nunes in the same bracket as Phillips. Nunes was far closer to the level of a Bernardo/Rodri/Mahrez first season than Phillips first season

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

    Rather play Callum Doyle

    52 | Oscar Bobb - 2024/25

Should be our main RW imo, he’s that good
  8. D

    Callum Doyle

Brilliant in the second half. Been great for two seasons in the Chanpionship, feel like he can do far better than a loan to Norwich

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

«If someone leaves at the end, maybe. But if no one leaves, I think we'll stay as we are...» Wonder if Cancelo and Phillips is considered as these «someone» or if they’re already out of the equation? There’s no doubt we need a backup for Rodri, and imo we need another RB as Kyle is regressing...

Manchester City v AC Milan, Saturday July 27th, @ New York, Pre Match Thread

Not that the result matter, but if we played Gvardiol and Kova over JWE and Phillips we would have easily won the game

    Ederson

Translation: Ederson didn't want Ortega to renew with Man City. Soon after the end of the season, he fueled rumors of a possible exit through Fabrizio Romano, suggesting a posture of "either him, or me".

Manchester City v AC Milan, Saturday July 27th, @ New York, Pre Match Thread

Seems like Kovacic and Gvardiol will be back for this one
  16. D

    Kalvin Phillips

Doesn’t scan the pitch either. If he recieves the ball and there isn’t an obvious one-touch pass available, he doesn’t have a clue on what to do with the ball

    Manchester City v Celtic @ Chapel Hill, NC - 23rd July (12.30am 24th UK time) Pre-game thread

Reckon it will be very close to this. With Rico inverting I could see Doyle LB and Katongo + Mbete as CBs (instead of JWE)

    James McAtee

Agreed, I rate him more highly than Palmer. It was impossible for him to show what he can do in that Sheffield United team. He was a victim in one of the worst PL teams of all time, surrounded by absolute shite in all positions. Guardiola said ‘I don’t care how he plays, I know how good he is’

    Manchester City v Celtic @ Chapel Hill, NC - 23rd July (12.30am 24th UK time) Pre-game thread

Hoping for Eddie Katongo Mbete Doyle Rico Phillips Bobb McAtee Perrone Grealish Haaland
