Wolves PL (A) | Post Match Discussion

We drop stupid points every season and we end up ok most of the time, today was one of those. It happens, we move on.

Can the panic merchants kindly fuck off now?

The guy who has put chances on a plate for foden and haaland should come off even though he's dominating the left hand side. Ok... Typical "find someone easy to blame" bollocks of the match day thread

Eh? He should have 3 assists, on a plate for haaland and foden

    Evan Ferguson

Stats don't take into account how they actually play. Iheanacho is a poacher. Ferguson is not, he is a mountain of a lad and his all round game is completely different. Judging footballers on stats alone doesn't make sense to me.

    Evan Ferguson

Stats can always be manipulated to suit the argument. Watching both players play at the same age, style, stature etc they are night and day.

    Evan Ferguson

Evan Ferguson is Irish, although his mum is english his dad's Irish, he's from bettystown and he won't be switching allegiances. Unfortunately he's also a rag so I can see him ending up there. I'm Irish, I've never had a problem with jack switching back to England as he was up front and honest...

    21 | Sergio Gomez - 2023/24

That assist today was magic stuff. Could be an unexpected find further up the pitch for us this season

    Matheus Nunes

Mate of mine was a coach at wolves last year, moved on the the rags now unfortunately. He messaged me to say we're jammy cunts, Nunes is the real deal and will add mobility, steel and creativity to us. They reckon he will be at the top level of CL players over the next couple of years

Finally. Complete and utter annihilation so far, great performance just lacking the goal until now

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Yeah that's fair enough, I see it as an insurance policy against the 30/35m offers and pressure from agents etc. Either way I'm extremely pleased with it and a release clause doesn't actually mean he will leave, things change but at least everyone's cards are on the table

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

What do people not get about this release clause? It's the formalisation of a gentleman's agreement, Bernardo is staying for another year (at least) full throttle, added another year so we don't get €30/35m offers for him next year as a player on the final year of his contract (see Mane to...

    Eberechi Eze

Eze.... Don't get it tbh but we'll see

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Bang on. Mostly the same who lauded cancelo and derided walker in December, who slagged off akanji in October then hailed him in April, slaughtered grealish on 21/22 but called him "super jack" last season, called rodri a slow donkey in 2020/21 etc etc etc. Serial culprits in a lot of cases...

Lucas Paqueta investigated by FA for alleged betting breaches

Never really took any notice of him before, thought he was top class today tbh People mentioning theatrics etc. Fair enough, but he's playing in a sub standard team and perhaps part of his remit/instruction is to break up play, causes delays etc to give his team the best chance - particularly...
