    Southampton post match thread

With the squad at our disposal the league season has been both embarrassing and disappointing. We have been taken apart so many times by very average teams. Today we should have played Nacho up front and flooded the midfield. Can't wait for next season and somebody in charge with a semblance of...

    Thiago Alcantara

Thiago is very much in the Xavi / Iniesta mould in that he holds the ball well and can work those tight one / twos or triangles. He has also been brought up with the high pressing philosophy which is of course paramount to Peps way of playing. Would be a good signing at the right price but like...

City v Real Madrid - 26/04/16 - Pre Match Thread

Probably the biggest game in the club's history tonight. So excited and can't wait for kick off. Away goals could be the big factor in this tie.

Chelsea vs City Post Match Thread

The impact KDB has made to the team these last few weeks has been quite incredible. He seems to have that certain ingredient that brings out the best in his teammates. I hasten to add that this relates to attack and not defence. Brilliant win yesterday.

    MOTM v PSG

Clichy had his best game for City, but if only for that incredible goal it must be Kevin.

Who said we couldn't defend? Well done boys.

    Top Four or final?

Top 4 place without any doubt whatsoever.

Great result boys. The two away goals could prove very significant.

    Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Ibra does not quite fit into our owners holistic image. Lol.

    Julian Weigl

What I inferred was that he is good now and can improve. Why are people so negative at times? By the way I also have potential for certain things and can give you a few years young man.

    Julian Weigl

Watched this kid play for Dortmund yesterday and was once again impressed with his quality. Dortmund did not have one of their better days but he still stood out as a player of immense potential at only 20 years of age. He is constantly aware of what's going on around him and acts as that anchor...

    Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Totally agree. It's a no brainer and I am sure even our exalted management will agree with that.

    Toni Kroos

Toni Kroos is an excellent player going forward and dictating the game but no so great at going back, as was emphasized in the England match last night. Only three players I can think of that can move the ball forward, provide a link up in play and break up the opponents play on a regular basis...

Can the wounded animal beat PSG?

As we will probably not qualify for the Chumps cup through the league it's definitely a win it to stay in it.

    United Post Match Thread

Some people complain about MDM ( quite rightly ), some about penalty decisions and some unbelievably about additional minutes not added at the end of the game. Let's face it however that we have become fairly toothless in front of goal and unless Kun is really on his game we are impotent in that...

    The battle for 4th place

With our current toothless displays I have no confidence in winning any of our remaining fixtures. I am sure we will but will it be enough to secure a Champions League place. I somehow doubt it.

    United (h) pre-match thread

On current form this a match of two very average teams. The difference is that we have the quality and they haven't. The big question is however, which City team will turn up on the day?

Are we looking to sign a striker?

In no way do I wish to hold back the advancement of Nacho and I sincerely hope he comes on in leaps and bounds next season. However let's look at the overall position of next season if Kun gets injured for any length of time and is absent through International duty and Nacho is called up to...

Are we looking to sign a striker?

Think you misunderstood my meaning of the comment on Nacho. He is a highly talented young man that we all see as being a future star. However if Kun is injured again and Bony is gone he is not ready for the responsibility that will be placed upon him as the No. 1 striker.

Are we looking to sign a striker?

Totally agree that if we sell Bony then we must bring in another goalscorer whether that be a forward or attacking midfield player. Sergio will always pick up injuries and Nacho is still work in progress.
