    Bernardo Silva - 2017/18 performances

His first touch is amazing; whether it's a one-time pass or controlling the ball or anything. One thing that annoyed me though is when we split their midfield up and have a promising counter and he's on the right wing, even then he just turn to his left and sort of waits for a movement of the...

    Nicolas Otamendi - 2017/18 performances

He had 2 or 3 very shit passes as did Mangala but with the latter I think most of use just notice it way more. :) Of course I'd still have rather 2 Otamendis than Mangalas and this was a game where off moments were ok. Now expecting some big things again from the Otamendi - Kompany partnership.

    Raheem Sterling - 2017/18 performances

Was even the case under Pellegrini, weirdly. I thought he suffered a bit at the start as a left wing as he just for whatever reason looks so much assured at right wing, but a much better second half with some lovely turns. And then the goal, wow.

    Pablo Maffeo - 2017/2018 Performances

He will be a club-trained player once he's 21, which is next summer so would count already as a senior from season 18/19. Which means that in PL context, he could be 1/8 of the homegrown registered seniors and in CL terms, he might become our only club-trained (1/4) player in our 'A' squad for...

    Feyenoord (h) pre-match thread

If he plays then he plays (I wouldn't be surprised as he was injured and only played a half on saturday for the EDS, and also it's not like we have injuries on the attacking front right now), but he is eligible to play for the senior team in CL.

    He is definitely eligible.

    Interview with Nolito

Good read, sound lad. Though I find it funny how everyone just goes about 'then he suddenly stopped playing' and he says the same. The latter is understandable of course as he won't admit that then 'Sane happened' (oh and Jesus) and he's just better in every aspect, but that's pretty much the...

    Feyenoord (h) pre-match thread

He played the whole game on Saturday against United's reserve, and anyway I just doubt he'll start this. Would be great to see him at least on the bench though. There is hope I guess.

    Feyenoord (h) pre-match thread

For Pep though, there's hardly any alternative as implementing his system takes time, time and even more time and hard work on the training field. He and his coaching staff builds fitness simultaneously with the training drills but this is all well documented in Perarnau's books which I'm sure...

Mangala is such a likeable guy (re press conf).

    Feyenoord (h) pre-match thread

I think the most sensible decision would now be a Walker - Otamendi - Mangala - Danilo defence. Walker, unlike Stones, played only one international game last week so hopefully it wouldn't be such a big risk though I'm already shitting it. Delph had some problems according to Pep and with Stones...

    EDS v United

And in general had his fair share of injuries already, so yeah, it's pretty normal he's still dicking around their reserves as he's trying to kick on some sort of form.

Played the whole game and he looked totally ok thankfully.

Kevin De Bruyne - 2017/18 performances

Difference between them is Martinez actually has some sort of tactics or strategy, just the fact that it's a bit shit usually. Wilmots doesn't even do such thing as tactics.

    Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

Presumably Arteta too, so all is well? :)

    Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

Feels what way? That he shouldn't visibly celebrate as he decided this is the best way not to cause any outrage? I'm not smiling at my job all the time either but I like it still.

    Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

Think he will always be a bit reserved when it's Arsenal and I guess it's fair enough. He's just a cool classy guy probably.

    Ederson Moraes - 2017/18 performances

H'e quite good with his feet though, not Ederson-like good, but way above your average PL GK. It's just that he has no real options as it's hardly Jose's tactics, so under pressure he either just hoofs it anywhere, or best case scenario is to find Lukaku's head somehow.
