Return test needs to be done in the 3 days prior to your flight. gov.uk advice says if you fly on a Friday, the test should be done Mon/Tue/Wed assuming your going Fri to sun, get it done at the airport when you land at the airport and use that for the way back. UK departure tests start at £45...
