Injuries 2024/25 | Kovacic ruled out for a month

Where would you say Foden was playing at Spurs?

Injuries 2024/25 | Kovacic ruled out for a month

Rodri got mocked when he talked about workload and a strike, but almost immediately picking up such a serious injury in a nothing challenge, has changed a few minds. Even more difficult to be critical now that he's collected a Ballon D'or on crutches.

Injuries 2024/25 | Kovacic ruled out for a month

If you scroll down the page below, you can download the 2023/24 Men's Player Workload Monitoring Report. They do show absolute minutes, but don't use that as the main criteria, but it does look at how many times they played, recovery time etc. There are case studies for Alvarez and Foden too...

Injuries 2024/25 | Kovacic ruled out for a month

Compared with last season, are we not a few up anyway? Savio in for Alvarez. Gundogan will play more than Gomez did. McAtee is then an extra player. Bobb was expected to be a much bigger part of the squad. Rico is clearly one of Pep's first team regulars now. And then we've had Nunes stepping...

    Kamala Harris

It all sounds like a lot of disruption to me - something that rich people tend not to like. But I really hope we never get to find out who is right.

    Kamala Harris

Surely the "immigration round up" will be the like the wall, or the new healthcare plan. Happening "in a few weeks".

Did you see who's representing them? Name rings a bell.

    Budget 2024

Much of the debate around IHT seems to create a narrative, that as soon as a penny of an inheritance is taxed, all the money is gone. Your post is arguing that more inheritances will be pushed over £1 million. Let's just step back, and consider that this is already up to £1m tax free. If (for...

    Budget 2024

I think we should listen to everyone, but is it not the same around every budget? For the last week we've had all sides telling Reeves that she needs to increase taxes more than she's planned for x cause, or not increase them as it affects x cause. Now we'll get a few weeks of people telling us...

    Media discussion - 2024/25

He's all over the PL twitter feed. Ten posts, an article on their website, tribute video of best moments etc. They even coincidentally called it 'a remarkable achievement for a remarkable player' when it was announced. The FA don't seem to post much about anything much outside their own direct...

    Rodri - The 2024 Ballon d'Or Winner! (Pg 131)

What is that - "To reach this level of a ballon d'or, you have to be grateful"? Very true, George.

He got me off my seat when he scored a belter in a Champions League final.

    Rodri - The 2024 Ballon d'Or Winner! (Pg 131)

The betting market has completely flipped, which suggests a hell of a lot of people believe :)

    Rodri - The 2024 Ballon d'Or Winner! (Pg 131)

It's unlikely - It would be quite the shock now if Vinicius didn't win. Other than that Kane is the only other one clearly in the wrong order compared with the betting, but I don't think it's terrible to have him above Haaland. He scored more goals than Haaland, and was top scorer at the Euros...

    Liverpool Thread | 2024/25

Sure - but to be fair, it was Havertz. It's a bit like kicking Andy Robertson. Against the rules, but would anyone blame you?

    Keir Starmer

I think that might be a bit out of date. Lots of defined benefit schemes are now 'average salary' rather than 'final', so using them interchangeably would cause confusion. The original point about someone on a defined benefit scheme being less concerned about the stock market does make sense...

Dear Manchester city ticket office SSL1 safe standing isn't

That's curious. I've just tried again, and got two warnings popping up. That one AND the other one about opposition fans. They're right next to each other, so feels odd that I missed it :/

Dear Manchester city ticket office SSL1 safe standing isn't

Where dies it say this? I just tried to buy a ticket in SS1 and saw nothing. There was even a warning on the purchase page about opposition fans, but no mention of standing.

    Donald Trump

The point I was making was that the changes weren't margin of error, they were definitely showing a trend. Whether the trend is real, is a different argument. I agree regarding clustering, but also the changes we're seeing are pretty minimal, and nothing like the final week of that 2017 general...
