    Referees’ Performances | 2024/2025

That doesn’t surprise me at all tbh, I’d expect us to be at least close to the top. I don’t think it equates to being treated more harshly.

Son looking to choose Manchester Metropolitan University.

My son’s in his second year at Manchester Met, was his second choice uni but it’s been a blessing he’s gone there. He stayed in halls right near to the union in the first year, most of the halls are concentrated round there. There are some that are shared between both unis and others, I’d...

    UK far right trouble

Spot on. The worry I have is there was a time really not that long ago where people of any political persuasion would agree with the fundamentals of your post. The concern now is that it’s been weaponised and been allowed to poison our political debate so much that I’m really not sure we’ll ever...

    UK far right trouble

Wasn’t trying to start anything, just don’t think that religious and political ideology are the same thing :) It cheapens the debate as it conflates the two. I don’t know anyone on any side of the political debate that advocates having the former having any influence on the state. It’s just a...

    UK far right trouble

Not sure I understand your point here? Religious ideology and political persuasions aren’t the same debate let alone being on one side. Right wing mainstream political figures were advocating racial tension and are now undermining our judicial system. No centrist or left wing political parties...

    UK far right trouble

The challenge is now the attack has moved on from being against those they were rioting against to against the judicial system itself, and it’s being driven by the right wing commentators that helped incentivise the rioters in the first place. I do agree combatting fire with fire isn’t the...

    Micah Richards the pundit

I do, I genuinely think he’s just not that bright. I’ve never seen him say anything actually that critical of us, he’s just had at times a stupid interpretation of certain events in a game. That’s fine, plenty that support us do that too!

    Micah Richards the pundit

I don’t think he’s intentionally toeing the line or making a point to be contrarian, I just think he says what he thinks and what he thinks isn’t particularly bright. It’s noticed more on here understandably when he’s voicing a point that’s seen as being critical of City, but he makes thick...

    Referees’ Performances | 2024/2025

That’s because the tv cameras were all on Stones’s celebration. They announced in the stadium, which could be heard on tv, that VAR was checking the disallowed goal so he clearly did at some point.

    The Stones Goal

It would have been the referee after talking to the linesman.

    The Stones Goal

They were talking about in the context of whether it was offside or not to be fair, they were being even dumber than you think!

Yes, the referee disallowed the goal. They announced in the stadium “VAR checking disallowed goal” which could be heard on the TV too.

    Wolves (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Yes it did! The goal was disallowed on the pitch. They even announced in the stadium VAR checking disallowed goal.

Eh?! Atwell asked for the on pitch review, he’s the reason we won the game!

He didn’t though, he disallowed it on the pitch!

It happens when they don’t get enough notification to switch the cameras off. They’ll cancel the pcn if you appeal.
