How’s pep not using his subs when he’s got two 30+ year olds in midfield. He will start them again mid week aswel. I feel for Alvarez I really do. Wish I got to see him today even if it was for twenty minutes. But no Pep would rather watch Gundo and Kevin run into the ground.

Get him if he’s the only guy we can stick cm who has energy. He’s making silly challenges because he’s basically playing left back because our trio in centre midfield are ghosts.

Marhez has had all his good games this year. He’s in bang average form again. Get him off.

Can’t we just get some legs into midfield? Honestly it’s like we have nothing in the centre of the park!

Go for more. Don’t let off. No more being kind to teams.

Because we won and it was ‘negative’ they can’t see beyond a win I guess. No room for improvement.

Also hearing them clowns on commentary, keep talking about ‘the players who can’t be on the bench’ how many 30+ year olds would be in the team of Pep played them all? For me that’s a big part of the problem , it’s an old aging team.

He’s back to his inconsistent self. He’s always been inconsistent, nothing will ever change with him. Be glad to see the back of him.

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2022/23 Performances

I loved this guy, as a person and as a player. But I have lost a lot of respect for him. I wouldn’t care if he never starts again.

Had a poor game but he’s been mr consistent. We should all forgive him.

Play him central if that’s where pep wants him. Stop sacrificing the defence. He’s good enough to play in there and I would love to see it. He can’t be no worse then the others.

    Spurs (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

I was abused by the fan base a few weeks ago for saying this… ‘What stands out for me is… The refusal to pass forward into space when it’s clearly on. The amount of times the team go back instead of playing a forward ball that’s on is scary. Haaland would have already been on 40+ goal this...

And what I will say is, if Pep really wants Rico in centre midfield then why not just drop one of the many under performers for him why does he have to usher him in via a full back spot? Rico for me can start ahead of Kevin,Bernardo,Gundo in that centre midfield position and I wouldn’t care.

I believe It’s all gone to pot. The old guard that was way of form didn’t like being dropped. I would be happy to see the back of all the 30+ year olds including Kevin.

Did anyone else notice Kevins attitude when he come on. There was more then three occasions Spurs went on the break and he looked like he couldn’t be bothered.

    8 | Ilkay Gundogan - 2022/23

Poor. Slow, leggy and doesn’t get on the ball to dictate the tempo. Doesn’t contribute to much at all of late. I would definitely play Bernardo every time over him. Even an out of form Bernardo gives more. Even Rico would offer more in that position.

    19 | Julian Alvarez - 2022/23

Let’s face it he’s not going to start next game is he. Every time he’s played and done great pep drops him next game anyway. Cracking player but Pep would rather please the old guard.

Then put him CM where he would influence a game better then Gundo is of late.

I am more concerned with Gundo failing to dominate. He’s like a ghost of late and for a man playing in centre mid for a team who aim to dictate play it’s horrible. Something has to change.
