Their disallowed goal did seem a bit odd - the ball was played to the Forest player ruled offside by a Newcastle defender and was very much not a deflection, it was a deliberate interception
I can only think that he stopped the game to book Werner for dissent. Definitely a foul and a booking but wasn’t a goalscoring opportunity as the player was a mile away from the goal and heading towards the corner flag
