It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Can't agree here personally. Nobody can ever run faster than you can pass the ball.

Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

Yeah he'd already 'pre signed' for Bayern at that point, or whatever it is.

Rodri Injury Updates | City say ligament injury (pg117)

Best wishes to Rodri. I think this will be an interesting challenge for Pep. Kovacic can't carry us for a season in that position. He will have to innovate.

    Tourists at games

From a cold business perspective they want to expand the fan base and this is a way to do that. I was at Wembley for the Community Shield game that a lot of Manchester based fans boycotted last season. It was like the United Nations but the main point was it was absolutely full despite the boycott.

Raheem Sterling | Arsenal Player (on loan)

Amazing signing for them at £125k a week an on loan. People saying he's shit should remember City did offer him a contract more valuable than that that would have him in our squad now, but he just wanted more and Chelsea were willing at the time.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Much as I'd like a shiny new toy, the current leadership has shown that patience pays off, whereas others have shown that impulse purchases under pressure are often a mistake.

Joao Cancelo | Al Hilal Player

Is he making £250k? Surely not that much?

Kyogo Furuhashi - on final striker shortlist

What a story that would be. I honestly wouldn't mind. Anything but boredom.

Kyogo Furuhashi - on final striker shortlist

Being linked with Kyogo, and Ilkay coming back for only one year ... makes me think the club knows some of the charges are going to stick.

Kyogo Furuhashi - on final striker shortlist

I know it's not worth much but if you look at his fifa and football manager stats he's fairly average all round except that off the ball movement and timing his runs he's really excellent, and fast too. So somewhat one dimensional but he's a clever striker who's role is to play centrally and...

Kyogo Furuhashi - on final striker shortlist

He looked very tidy in the Community Shield, almost reminiscent of Gundogan tbh. I hope we keep him.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Do they think this is going to provoke United or Arsenal into a bid for him maybe? There's obviously no way City go for him.

Kyogo Furuhashi - on final striker shortlist

Looks like he could be a good backup striker. It's a really tough position to fill so I don't know why some people are getting 'toys out of pram' that we're not linked to someone more high profile.

Raheem Sterling | Arsenal Player (on loan)

Do you honestly think he could have achieved that without passion? He fully deserved to be playing with those players, nobody is or was gifted a slot in that team. Just because someone doesn't beat his chest and scream and shout doesn't mean he's passionless. As for humility, spare me. If any...

Raheem Sterling | Arsenal Player (on loan)

"Rarely showed much passion" PFA Young Player of the Year FWA Player of the Year 4 x League Titles 5 x League Cup 1 x FA Cup 82 England caps. All achieved with only rare expressions of passion apparently. I'd argue his absolutely incredible achievements show the opposite. Honestly the level...

    Ivan Toney

I don't see anything on the Brentford fan forum other than that they all wish him well so he can't be that much of a bellend as some are making out. On reflection I think he'd be great for us and has some strengths that Haaland doesn't. It would rest on whether he was happy to be a backup...

    Ilkay Gundogan - Done Deal

I can definitely imagine Pep doing that. He played Bernardo Silva left back.
