Brighton (A) - Post Match Thread.

Well controlled throughout. Wish we were more clinical though.

Deadpan. Nice. I just think he's better when he has space, wheras both Silva's and Nasri are better in tight areas.

I feel like De Bruyne only helps us with his final ball. He's less suited to these kind of games

Also still think Nasri would be more than useful in these games.

Why do commentators perpetuate the myth that he is normally so clinical. He's been bad in front of goal for the last 18 months. Cue the "he had his best goal scoring season last season" posts.

    Finishing is hilariously bad

I think Walker and Danilo need to sit narrower and support Dinho when the back 3 have it just to give the back three options and stop the aimless balls forward. They can push wide once the ball has moved forward.

Think we are struggling to get on the ball in between the lines. When players are dropping into pockets they're playing the ball straight back out to the centre backs. The pitch is too small for us at the minute and we can't stretch it on the left either given Danilio is right footed. Means that...

I live in Boro and a lot of folk up here love him. That said, I don't think he is quite good enough to play for City. He's not overly quick and he's pretty average on the ball. Wouldn't make a tonne of sense to be honest. Also worth noting Boro under Karanka were quite possibly the most risk...

I think he will do well at a better club and in a better side. He is very talented.

    Thomas Lemar

Wouldn't make a tonne of sense. Good player but we hardly need another attacking midfielder.

    Jesus Navas

Can't rewrite history and pretend that he was genuinely good enough to justify the amount of games he played in. But he is clearly a good pro and always seemed to work hard. Hope he does well back home. He'll probably start scoring goals now knowing our luck.

Never mind the "temp 81f, feels like 79f" graphic that keeps popping up every water break. They need a "2-0, feels like 8-0" graphic for those who are tuning in late.

Standard Aguero. Misses sitters galore but still manages to average about a goal a game.

Because it's a reflection on our clubs decision making. In the main, I don't think city fans are even raising eye brows on the money spent on Walker or Mendy. But £140m - £160m on a teenager is insane. If we did pay that, I would have to conclude that we are insane.

I probably wouldn't sanction it 2 months after he's had his best goalscoring season.

No I was agreeing with you. I 100% agree with what you're saying. Sorry for the confusion.

This forum makes me piss at times mate. Plenty of blues would seemingly fuck off a club legend for a new shiny toy.

    Alexis Sanchez

Heard this morning we are dangling Sancho as a peace offering with Arsenal. It's not something that i think will wash with Wenger considering he probably won't be around when Sancho does break through. But for what it's worth, Arsenal really really rate him and Wenger's reluctance with selling...
