I thought long and hard about this. Rodri and Kovacic excellent in midfield Walker very solid at RB, Haaland with 2 goals, Akanji, Gvardiol and Dias steady enough, Foden for his running and passing and a lovely cameo from Doku but in the end I decided on a joint award for Emerson and Ortega...

I thought we started ok but after about 20 mins went through a spell of trying impossible passes and giving the ball away. That seemed to spread throughout the team and lead to a much higher than usual number of errors. We look more likely to score from wide positions but for some reason...

I think Puma (and any other shirt manufacturer) are more interested in what sells and keeping it pretty much the same would most likely affect sales. Hence we get a new one each season, whether we like it or not. I guess that's why these companies pay big money for the kit deals.

Good starting 11 and a strong bench. Pleased with that.

There are differences. Badge, sponsor's colour etc. Similar but I guess there's only so much you can do when the bulk of the shirt has to be the same colour every year.

Normally I'd agree but I thought we looked more solid at the back when Walker came on for him against Fulham. Probably more to do with Akanji changing position than Ake going off though.

I like it to be honest. I generally prefer socks that match the colour of the shirt but those don't look too bad.

Ultimately it doesn't really matter what the Spurs' fans want. The players will want CL football and will be giving their all. Hopefully we'll be on form and go on to win though.
