They do that already, that was in place at Porto. They had an outer perimeter with multiple check points, 1st one checked ID, covid pass at the time and ticket, you would then go through another to have you tickets scanned.

Is this for fact or just a guess mate? The codes are unique to each season ticket holder, surely it wouldn’t be hard to link the codes City provide to names already held on City’s database and pull that through?

Yes I’m not sure either way if club issued tickets could be transferred, that’s the chance someone will take I guess, possibly me if the opportunity arises and I don’t qualify on my own merit

A few posters have suggested that club purchased tickets won’t be available to transfer and only Uefa ballot ones. Which are in neutral areas anyway. That does make sense and something Uefa/city could easily implement
