    75 | Nico O'Reilly - 2024/25

So is it possible that academy talent is at last good enough for Pep rather than seeming to prefer talent that other PL teams have proven to be OK at that level.? I am mindful that Messi played Spanish style football whereas Pep himself had to adjust and eventually prove with trusted City...

Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

What fruit does it deliver.? In our last house all female trees gave us dates. The palm tree in current house gives us massive amounts of smooth raspberry sized green then dark blue/red berries. Unfortunately although edible not very tasty.

    75 | Nico O'Reilly - 2024/25

Spain as a country team play similar to City. Young talent is given a chance so do you think Pep would promote a 15 or 16 year old to the PL team if one appeared?

    75 | Nico O'Reilly - 2024/25

Is it just City that seem to be reluctant to give younger players a chance? Apart from Rodri the PO the Euros was the Spanish 16 year old. Perhaps times are changing and the Cole P experience has changed our thinking but surely if they are good enough they are old enough.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

For some reason I thought we were taking legal action to protect our version of what these income streams were worth both now and in the future. Am I wrong?

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

All results must be considered from either side winning completely to any split in between. City, whilst being completely confident, are keeping their powder dry in the transfer market just in case further legal action is needed. So many variables that trusting in existing players makes...

Madrid weather is not perfect by the way. Can be very hot in summer but winter can be really cold.

Alvarez done deal - £82m to Atletico

I think the Palmer experience has been instrumental in making sure our talented batch of young players are given proper chances of PL games. They may surprise us like the Spanish 16 year old starring for Spain never mind his Club.

City fined over £2m by PL | Sanction agreed for 22 breaches relating to ko delays

Perhaps paying our fines directly to the individual refs and officials may help to change their opinions of us?

City fined over £2m by PL | Sanction agreed for 22 breaches relating to ko delays

City at fault no doubt. For various reasons PL customers need accuracy of both kick offs so short of always starting the game with one or both sides at lower player numbers what else can be done? Perhaps forcing subs to be available to make up numbers at correct times and originals excluded...

Previous UK government ‘covered up’ financial turmoil ahead of election

I wonder how competent any recent Government is at handling budgets. By that I mean they get all their money by taxation of other financial companies that make a profit out of their budgets or properties and households who have generated their own cash to spend. They, like local government see...

City fined over £2m by PL | Sanction agreed for 22 breaches relating to ko delays

The fines are typical of PL in that the rules are there to be used both on and off the field. City are expected to obey every rule to the letter whereas other Clubs are allowed to be exempt or at the ref or PL discretion. We should be used to it by now. Perhaps we should go over the top with...

    Kalvin Phillips

Certainly doing himself no favour's in the USA tour team. Perhaps he is happy to play as he wants and get paid to the end of his contract. Why should he try hard to get a transfer when he has shown little at WHU? Apathy with a smile. Pep has given his opinion so why should he even try from...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Summaries are always useful if only to confirm that I have understood the gradually released detail. Keep doing it my friend, we are then all singing from the same City point of view.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Thanks for that view of the process, even my lack of legal knowledge now appreciates the way it works. Just one question. Will the Panel be trying to get a compromise of the type you describe or will they simply impose one based on their legal findings? Thanks again Peter.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Similar to the actual "on the field rules" which can be ignored or observed to the letter if aimed at City.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

As I understand it, the Panel will have to legally justify any "guilty as charged" decision. If so the KCs involved are unlikely to risk their legal standing simply to appease a biased Judgement. If they can legally prove City have been lying that makes all of us mugs for believing Mr K..
