PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Perhaps they feel that their own appointed tribunal is the same as their biased internal Rule breaking designed for City so leaks are normal? Why worry they think, it is all under control. Maybe they are right and we are deluding ourselves about fairness.

Completely agree. He will make all the top peaple accountable and simply replace those who do not perform. Currently having a good look round and allocating responsibilities. He will get a few buzzwords wrong but he will make sure those who are responsible do their Jobs.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

The 115 are historical but the other one affects the future and tries to implicate the past so needs immediate attention to allow our better business plan to action.

Has club football killed international football ?

Unfortunately say City players must adapt their natural game to accommodate all styles of all other players selected. They cannot rely on other team players who play differently so I think play it safe. Mr Southgate knows this and dumbs down to safety first.

Has club football killed international football ?

Club sides can use the best players in the world whereas say England can only use best English players. Our PL attracts the global tv money so it's top clubs attract the best players. How can England possibly play a team game when it's PL clubs play different styles week in week out and rely...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Their historical arrogance or hubris appears to be changing then S, because at one stage they would just laugh and smirk inwardly at being the cause of such a leak.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

If that one fits great for the PL. Also maybe the red shirt controllers are on holiday and the Panel are scared to send them a draft email asking what should they do? Alternatively perhaps still trying to encourage a Settlement that satisfies both sides. I'm hopeful / sure all will be done...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Conversely, because they have to give proper reasons to have found us guilty perhaps they need this time to conjure up legal speak that even hints of proof of a guilty verdict.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I was probably not specific enough.I meant choice of Panel members. As I understand it a PL picked chairman picks his own Panel members from a PL list.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Perhaps like City they are uncertain what a PL selected Panel will act in an unbiased way? What possible reason would any sector of industry insist that only their approved list of Panel members could be used.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Possibly they got reassurances from PL controllers that they were above certain aspects of the law. They still allowed leaks re the 165 page document which they may now regret.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I am completely clueless RE legal matters but is the City claim that the PL are breaking the Contract? By that I mean the PL are effectively targeting City with rule changes which discriminate eg Asia cf USA. If so they cannot apply a Contract break penalty because they are equally guilty by...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Fair point. Only the verdict, or whatever it is called, is detailed not the individual Panelist reasons to vote that way.

Sorry all. Thanks for the correction. I knew he batted for the. opposition and voted accordingly

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I agree and hope that they act in a totally unbiased manner. However, I recall even CAS verdict was 2 to 1 with the PL nominated panelist voting against us.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

But do the PL and their red controllers know that? Perhaps they think they are still in control?

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Leaks, I'm afraid they can't stop themselves. Their arrogance continues, perhaps this hubris is justified and a PL appointed Panel could not possibly find in City's favour, especially as a City victory would open the door for a damages claim.

Of course not. Once his agreed investment was being constrained he reverted to how dare they mode. "Never trouble trouble until trouble troubles you" , seems to have well and truly been triggered.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I think that is a fair post. He is feeling frustrated at not being able to spend his investment without breaking rules meant for Newcastle and City. It has come as a shock to him and he wants it out of the way so he can maximize his investment. I wonder what he and Mr Gill will have to say to...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Unfortunately it seems that Sir Jim has decided that the unlimited funds at United are running out. As Mr K said our business plan is superior as time has shown. Seems as though only him and Omar are to be the Change Agents so let's see which of the others listen and see an exit of those not...
